humanity never progresses. i‘m watching a vid w bella hadid and why are they rebranding her into this weird grunge 2000s ana girl? and it just got me thinking all the credit we gave to kim kardashian for changing beauty standards and like how nicki minaj was like „fuck the skinny bitches“ literally meant nothing. we were all so glad for „body positivity“ and black beauty standards to start to be the norm but they were never going to. we never progress. honestly the best thing in life you‘ll learn is that progress in humanity is a facade to keep us engaged. it will bring you peace knowing that. it‘s lowkey like they preach in spirituality: only now matters. they are right. there is no before and after and how it was and how it will be. there really isn‘t. and it‘s not to say that in a hopeless way but in a matter of fact so lay back way.
