This is the 17th week, and this is the last weekly blog for these subject :-( the time has come...I can’t imagine that it’s really the last weekly blog of our venture. Timis is very fast, that’s why we need to have a time management. Before i wanna share to you my week experienced for these week, I just wanna say THANK YOU for our very strong instructor Sir Bronson G. Mabulay, to make these subject great and awesome. We are lucky to have you for these subject sir, Thank you for the knowledge.

This week was very tiring and hassle week for us, there’s a lot of deadline that we need to submit for these week, but despite of that, we are still need to manage our time specially for the preparation in the final venture pitching. Honestly speaking, it’s not easy for us to have these kinds of deadline.The fact that there are only few days left to prepare and this subject is one of the hardest subject in these semester.

Since our product is hardware, i think we are the only one team that has a product of hardware in our section. To be honest, we are still trying to figure out on how can we present this type of product. I mentioned in my other blog that this product was composed of four subject, one of that is our thesis subject in which, we are still under research on that.

That’s the reason why its very hard to present our product, because it is still under research. As i have mentioned in my 2nd to the last blog that our devices was already tested but still finding the perfect output. We are now currently finding ways on how can we make our product representable on the final venture pitching.

By the way our product is not just a product but this product is involved water and the safety of the users is a must priority. That’s why it is still under research.

This is not a last but a beginning of our journey, I am hoping that we will see you again in my startup company in the future. Again Thank you Sir BGM for the knowledge. You make us believe that “Education is not the boundary of success, but it depends on the persons on how they look life with their perspective.”

This is the 16th week and this is the 2nd to the last blog for this subject :’( we are very close to the final presentation. So for this week, we do testing on our devices in preparation for the final venture. As we do the testing of our devices, the testing was good. The devices working accordingly.

The devices that we test are the water flow sensor and peristaltic pump. These two devices are the main component of our product. As we do the testing for water flow sensor, it worked according to the functionality of the device. But the result are still tentative since we are not able to verified if the rate calculations for water is correct. As of now, we are still working on that.

Another thing that we do for this week was the development of the software side of our product. We also discussed regarding the development of our prototype for the final presentation in order for us to present its functionality. We also consult to a engineer to validate our system in order to get the exact ratio for the calculation and to have a solid and reliable product.

Maybe this is the 2nd blog for our venture, we admitted that these subject was not simple as we think but these subject can able to help us to handle a business someday.

This is the 15th week and for this week, we are still working such things with the bryg. such as educate and interview them particularly with the brgy. officials. We talked to them, we try to clarify to them on how the brgys can make up for the budgeting regarding the projects and how they decide on what projects are to be conducted on their brgys.

We are focusing on these such types of questions since our product is being implemented on brgy. So we need to know how these brgys can do or accommodate our product. In our interviewed, they are saying that the allocation of budget will depending on what project is being made. They also mentioned that, if there’s a project that exceeds 50K then there will be a bidding.

Also this week, we interviewed regarding how the projects for the brgy are being approved. They are saying that if there are projects proposed to the barangay council will held a meeting regarding the project. In order to approved the project, they will conduct an election for that project. they need to get the majority of the council’s votes.For the budgeting will come when it is finally approved. these information that we’ve gathered from the barangays are very important since that’s where we get our sales.

For this week experienced, don’t be discouraged on what you’ve got during the interview particularly when it comes to negative answers. because that negative answers will made your project’s perfect. that’s all for this week.

This is the 14th week, and this week there are many things to consider since the end of our venture is near approaching. And the final demonstration day is very near, so our team needs to prepare for that day. Now our team has to prepare for following weeks presentation. Last time we prepared for our revenue model, this time we need to interview for more customers especially the people in the rural barangay that we also need to educate.

We need to educate people in the rural barangay since in deploying our product the people in the barangay are the one who’s going to benefit. In validating our product wasn’t easy for us. Because some of the interviewee are not interested in implementing of such product. Some of them are saying that such product is not necessary since they haven’t experience such outbreaks. And also they pointed out that they are also using mineral water as their main drinking water from water refilling stations.

We did this kind of interview because we can see that data gathered in these interviews was a big help for us. And also it is important to interview them since they are the end users. So our validation was not yet done, there are many things to consider.

We can say that these week was one of the challenging week. We believe that whatever comes against us we should face it with might. that’s all for this week

Few weeks to go, finals is coming.........

For this week, we have to do our Revenue Model. which identifies the revenue source to pursue, what value to offer, how to price the value, and who pays for the value. First thing we do was our revenue model or revenue stream, in revenue stream we belong to Asset Sale since our product is hardware and we are letting the buyer to own our product as long as it pays for it fully.

In terms of pricing, we have come up with having a Fixed price. since we belong to asset sale, and also because after the transaction with or through fixed price, we are able to go to the designated area and install our product. After the installation, the buyer now has complete ownership. And regarding in our maintenance operation, we are also covering the maintenance with a fixed price per maintenance.

On our secondary target customer which is the engineering firms or other waterworks providers/company. we decided to have a Licensing for them as our revenue stream. since they are capable of producing their own version.

lesson for this week, teamwork is very effective than solely.

Few weeks to go, finals is coming. We have 6th weeks left before the finals... Time is so fast, as I'ved said in my few blogs timeline is very important.

For this week, we are all busy making papers in our redefence, and also to other subjects. I can see that this week is one of the very challenging week. It's because this is our last chance to present our proposal in thesis. It's not just a thesis but rather, this project covers three subjects. That's why it very challenging in our part.

For this subject, we are fucosing making our channel, BMC, and customer validation. For the channel presentation, i am the one who picked in our team to present our channel and value of proposition or the BMC on saturday. But unfortunately our instructor was not arround due to his travel at UP Diliman.

For the customer validation or the interview, our target area was the rural area. Since our product is hardware and fucos on chlorination. In rural areas, we can say that our product is very useful for them specially when we talk about the unsafety water.

In brgy. Agusan there are many people that get their water sources in the groud, and we all know that it is unfase for them due to it was not treated yet. And that was our target.

So my team, do did this kind of customer validation in some rural areas such as Agusan and Villia. I was not arround due healt reason and my team already aware of that. According to them, the interview was good. The two barangays got interested in our product.

Next is at Villa, they got same answers. But another thing is that they pointed out that, it depends on the person if they prepare having this kind of product.

Try and try until you success. And that would be all for week.
