FAN PROJECT FOR ACTRESS PAGET BREWSTER'S BIRTHDAY (AND JUST IN GENERAL BECAUSE I LOVE HER)
(shhh I know it’s not til March, but I’m a full time student and need as many days as I can have to do this.)
In the wake of all the negativity she’s been getting from H*tch fans, and just because she’s partly responsible for me being in art school and I have skills to use to give back, I’m doing a painting of Paget and incorporating quotes from her fans i.e. YOU!!!
It can be anything you’d want to say to her; how talented she is, how she helped you realize your sexuality, how funny she is and how she makes you laugh on your bad days, how meeting her changed your life, etc. Could be general or personal, literally anything you feel, and I’ll put it on the painting along with (hopefully) hundreds of other comments.
like Twitter, try to keep it under 140 characters. It really doesn’t matter if it’s a few words over, but just be as concise as you can because paragraphs are hard to deal with when there’s hundreds, ya feel?
I’ve debated whether or not to okay including profanity, but I’m gonna say keep it clean. Think of the children.
You can include your name, your nickname, a fake name, your full name (I won’t be posting this anywhere other than her Twitter, but it WILL be public obviously so just FYI if you don’t want that info known), or you can remain anonymous if you really want, but that’s no fun.
Basic etiquette should go without saying, but please don’t be insanely creepy. While it might be okay to say shit like that in the tags on tumblr, I really don’t think Paget wants to see 30 comments along the lines of ”Mom I really love you and wish you’d shove a shotgun up my tight asshole” like please Do Not.
No emojis or smileys. I’m sorry, but I’m putting these in a painting and it would be incredibly hard to include.
I only use tumblr, but feel free to ask around Twitter, Facebook, in person, etc. and include other people’s comments in your asks if they don’t have a tumblr. I want this to be open to as many fans as possible!
I’m gonna put a loose deadline on this as February 10th, only because I have to actually start the painting(s if I have to split it) and plan the size based on the number of quotes I receive eventually, so I’m giving myself a month before her birthday. Let’s make this as sentimental as possible for an incredible woman <3
