Pen-Pal Wanted!:)
hi! I’m emily, I’m 15 and from the US. I’m not sure how far this post will go, but basically, I’m looking for a pen-pal with similar interests and that I can be artsy in the letters with (send our favorite quotes/poetry, exchange 2nd hand annotated books, decorate letters from top to bottom, talk about our dreams with and what makes us smile, etc.) I’ve never had a pen-pal before, but I’d like them to be around the ages of 14-16,
Some more things about me:
- I love music, and writing lyrics
- I write a lot and love to read
- I want to be a clinical child’s psychologist (primarily for deaf children)
- I watch A LOT of movies and tv shows! (sex education, shameless, skam (norway, france, austin), brooklyn 99, parks and rec, and more shows), so send me recommendations!
- I love people! But I am a little shy in person. Small talk is a bit difficult for me, so i tend to just jump right in and I’d like a person that won’t rely on small talk. I want to see your personality!
- I’m learning ASL (American Sign Language); three of my sisters are deaf, so I’m not the best at spelling or understanding every sign, but I know enough to communicate on a very basic level, then spell the words i don’t know how to sign. It’s not required, but I definitely wouldn’t mind a deaf/ASL using pen-pal!:)
So message me! Really, I don’t bite. I am anxious about giving my address out to strangers, so it would help if we could chat beforehand (and i obviously still live with my parents, so it would help if they feel comfortable too. the letters are just between you and me, so don’t feel that that is a barrier)
