02z reaction to you not recognizing them when you're drunk

*i came across this post and used the topic as scenario setting before going to sleep lol, here is my humble take on it!

JAY

wouldn't be too hurt by it

knows that this reaction is only because you're drunk

silently takes care of you (gentle back rubs 100% and constantly checking up on you)

would give you water to try and sober you up a bit, makes sure that you drink it

if you're with people, he might tell one of your friends that he's taking you home before you guys leave

would scold you, but in an informative and educational way that makes you never want to drink that much again (im crying laughing just thinking about it)

JAKE

is genuinely hurt that you don't recognize him, but he wouldn't let it show

knows that your current state takes precedence

would try to talk you into recognizing him ("it's me, jake!" hand to his chest, softest voice ever, puppy eyes - yeah, you get it)

might give up on sobering you up in favor of just taking you home

if you're with people, he'd politely say his goodbyes and let a few of your friends know that you guys are leaving

wouldn't necessarily scold you, but would let you know how he felt (scared bc of how much you drank, expresses that he wants you to be more careful)

SUNGHOON

wouldn't even care, in fact he's proud of you if you're sus of him (never trust a man that isn't him!)

thinks it's peak time to mess with you though and quizzes you about himself (sulks if you give an answer he doesn't like & stops)

takes it seriously if you show him any negative reactions

gives you a water bottle to sober you up (if it doesn't work, he'll give up and just take you home)

if you're with people, make sure to text them in the morning that you're home and safe (irish goodbye sunghoon debut)

would playfully scold you about drinking to this point, but trusts you not to do it again if he sees that you're regretful (hands on hip, or arms crossed over his chest for sure)

02z as popular romance tropes

*i actually saw another post on this topic (this one) and i thought it was super cute, wanted to put my own little spin on it!

JAY as 'Secret Billionare'

son of a rich man

wants to be acknowledged for his own efforts and hard work

is actually quite sheltered and innocent (very earnest!)

too generous for his own good and can be gullible

is embarrassed about coming from a rich family (but not of his family, if that makes sense)

likes to appear down to earth (and he is!), but is fond of material goods (unless you're trained to spot legit high-end brand names, you'd never know that he was loaded)

doesn't keep his wealth a secret on purpose, he genuinely thinks that his father's wealth doesn't define him (and he's right!)

will spoil you with his own money that he'd worked hard for

JAKE as 'Childhood Friends To Lovers'

your mother's friend's son, someone that you can be comfortable around

very playful, but can be nervous around you

the type of person who would remember small things about you that you wouldn't expect anyone to remember

would be very aware of his feelings for you, but can be too shy to act on them and may flake out (will kick himself for it tho)

the kind of guy who might stutter or get his words mixed up when he's talking to you (the person he likes)

would probably try to ignore his feelings for you in order to save the friendship, but would ultimately fail

it'd be a bit obvious that he likes you...

can finally relax when you guys get together because now he doesn't have to worry about hiding his feelings

SUNGHOON as 'Best Friend’s Brother'

your best friend's older brother

really gorgeous, but a bit intimidating at first

the type of person to know when someone's crushing on him, but is kind enough to ignore it if they're shy / to keep the peace

can also be a bit shy and awkward himself

like enha likes to say, he's a very warm (sweet, caring, and playful) type of guy when you get to know him better (his genuine smile can and will cause global warming)

his teasing style is very ‘older brother to a girl’ coded (canon) & he will tease you without hesitation

falling for each other would be effortless, how you get together however... might be a hurdle depending on his sister's reaction

if there was a fight between you and his little sister, he'd choose you, but he'd sulk about it (he'd want you two to make up)

02z , and why they can't settle on a leader...

*my opinion + just for fun

JAY

technically the rightful leader of 02z + second best choice (imo)

doesn't actually affect him who the leader is

understands that there is no true 02z leader (it's euijoo)

likes the idea of being leader + appearing responsible / reliable

too easy to tease, because of this he gets his '02z leader' title constantly stolen by sunghoon and jake

JAKE

the secret leader of 02z (imo)

also isn't really affected by who the leader is

only wants to be leader bc the other two want to be leader

thinks its fun / funny to fight for the leader spot (in other words: he thinks jay and sunghoon are cute to mess with)

would actually be a good leader for 02z, but for this very reason, will never be the leader

SUNGHOON

the only one who actually wants to be the 02z leader + genuinely thinks he'd be good at it

wants to be leader bc he thinks jay and jake are cuter and more clueless than him

is unaware that he is equally cute and clueless

enha can smell how desperate he is to be leader (like sharks with blood) and for this reason, he will never be the leader

at the bottom of the totem poll and he doesn't even know it
