a beat, a SINGLE moment of hesitation, of indecision. in truth, lexa had no idea what she wanted; the simple answer was ‘you’, yet no one knew better than lexa that the situation would NEVER be that easy. if it was, sia would already be in her arms, lips covering lips. her throat bobbed with a subtle gulp, gaze locking on the she-wolf’s, willing sia to see the answer in her eyes so that lexa wouldn’t have to speak it. “i want ———” the words trail off, swallowed by the silence in the room, disappearing like a wisp of smoke from CORRUPTED lungs.
