Once they start dating, there’s a silent agreement between Mike and Will that they’ll get married the second gay marriage is legalized. But Mike still wants to make it official because 1) wouldn’t Will look so beautiful with a rock on his finger? and 2) he knows Will loves big romantic gestures. So when Will gets really into jewelry making in the 90s, Mike commissions him to make an intricate design that suits Will the Wise’s taste. He takes it to a jeweler to attach the amethyst so there’s still an element of surprise. At one of the LOTR filming locations in New Zealand, he finally proposes. Will cries so much he forgets to say yes.

I’m sorry but calling your “dead” situationship over a walkie without ever actually investigating their increasingly obvious signs of survival is not the same depth of love as ditching all your friends and family to sleep bundled in 4 layers in a house as cold as a meat locker, spend more nights slumped in a bedside hospital chair, and run through a building full of flesh-eating monsters just to stay close to and protect your other situationship when they’ve been possessed by a supernatural demon all while firmly believing that their new otherworldly powers might be a miracle instead of a mistake just as your narrative parallel once believed about said situationship’s narrative parallel 25 years ago.

I love Byler. I love this fandom. The ship and all the art for them has inspired me to do so many things. I've tried crafts I haven't done before. Call it Bylermaxxing the way I picked up writing again and I'm practicing how to draw. I also sew for the first time to do a Will the Wise cosplay. I tried my hand on doing video edits. Now, I've learned how to make felt plushies. I'm new to crochet but maybe I'll crochet them next. Who knows? I just love them so much, I'm willing to learn and try new things.
