Hot take: Data doesn't have math/science autism

Yes, Data is good at math and science, but that's mostly just his job and he is built for it. If we took Lore and tamed him, he would be equally good at it. Honestly, we could probably also use B4 for the same purposes if he was reprogrammed. U can't say that fish have swimming autism bc they r good at swimming -> they r good at swimming bc they live in water and r born with those genetics.

However, Data's actual hyperfixations lie in the arts -> he is literally a certified theater boyyy and loves painting and violin and psychology. STEM is mostly just his job. He's just like me fr
