I appreciate how supportive everyone is of each other on DS9. Nog joining Starfleet his Dad Rom supports him 100%. Bashir getting closer with Garak, telling Sisko about it and Sisko is like well I guess you will need a new suit. Worf being invited by Jadzia to hunt for the ultimate Klingon Sword. O’Brien being on a winning streak in darts and everyone cheering him on. Sisko poisoning a planet to get Eddington and Jadzia being like well I guess Starfleet doesn’t need to know.

i fw/ bareil. he is compelling to me. however i also love that he died. i don't think he was done wrong at all i think him dying was great. i love to conceptualize him as kira's dead wife she keeps in her locket. it's so good. also ily "life support" and "collaborator", that first mostly for kira angst but him & winn negotating with turell is super compelling to me

anyway i've been drawing bajorans with all sorts of weirdly shaped ears lately bc i think 1. drawing normal ears are boring 2. cool if true. i also think they would like focusing on the profiles in portraits and really highlighting the ears in art.

tried to show this on ds9 characters. these are meant to be bareil, kira & shakaar but i don't blame anybody who doesn't clock that bc they're all hard to draw for me. ive been trying to figure kira's face out for forever and she keeps on escaping me. but yes these are my ear headcanons

Grathon Tolar is to my mind one of the great enigmas of DS9. Where did he meet Garak? What were they up to? In many ways I don't want these questions answered while simultaneously itching to have them answered. Also, what does Garak do with the body? Does he stick it on Vreenak's ship so it goes kaboom with the rest? Many questions. I love you, creepy little blue guy, I remember you, lighting a candle, ect. ect.
