Anima Seynabou Ngassay Morón, Cuba 2016 Following a horse ride into the town of Morón in Cuba, I was dropped off into the Downtown area. Little shops, artensal boutiques, and jewellery galleries galore. I was fascinated with the culture and the energy of my surroundings.
Instantly I crossed paths with Anima, and found her to have a beautiful presence, but a calming aura to her also. (Her sartorial choices along with her attention to details were incredibly well put together in my opinion.) For Those Who Don't Know x @ted_baker A little something I put together. Untitled no.1 Armenia, Colombia 2014 After ordering lunch at a little restaurant in Armenia, Colombia, I began to look around at what was surrounding me, the little coffee shops, the gift stores, the bakeries, the butcher shops, and a fruit store across the street. My eyes were instantly drawn to this woman. The way she was sitting, her poise, her smile, her glowing eyes, and something about her energy drew me in. I crossed the street, approached her and explained that I just needed to take her portrait. She was humbled by my request and explained that she felt very special. Inspired by the following quote: To him she seemed so beautiful, so seductive, so different from ordinary people, that he could not understand why no one was as disturbed as he by the clicking of her heels on the paving stones, why no one else's heart was wild with the breeze stirred by the sighs of her veils, why everyone did not go mad with the movements of her braid, the flight of her hands, the gold of her laughter. He had not missed a single one of her gestures, not one of the indications of her character, but he did not dare approach her for fear of destroying the spell.

"Silent Reverie"
Downtown Bogota, Colombia September 2014
This image encapsulates an unknown man who at first appeared to be vulnerable and weary of his surroundings. Something about this man's complexity had intrigued me. His long thumb nail, the crossing of his arms, his tinted eye wear, the tilt of his hat, the shades and tones of green in his outfit, the position of his lips and his bold stance. I want to know more about this man, but his aura was quite concealing. I think about his silent reverie"
Image inspired by the following quote:
"A man is a bundle of relations, a knot of roots, whose flower and fruitage is the world."
