The Wheel of Time is one of the best tv shows ever made. Middle aged lezzies and throuples with powers and five bffs going on adventures and fighting battles together and getting separated and finding eachother again. Demons are responsible for its cancelation

it's been over a year since the last episode aired and I see the empty space left behind it in every show and every movie I watch

I see decently written interesting female characters, only for them to get nothing to do in the plot. I see the tiniest crumbs of queer representation, and people eat it up and call it a meal

we got one big mainstream action-adventure show where women got to be fully developed 3-dimensional characters existing outside heteronormativity while also being relevant and even central to the plot... and they fucking cancelled it

✏️ I have written exactly one fanfiction, and it isn't published anywhere. It is Wheel of Time fanfiction, but with an original character and set after the events of the books. I am a person who likes being taken on a journey by a story, and I don't really feel the need to theorize about an ending I haven't read/seen yet, nor do I tend to imagine much beyond what the story gives me regarding canon. Not sure why. I don't tend to read fanfiction much either, although I think it is really cool that people imagine and write these incredible things and share them for free on the internet. Mad props to people who write fanfiction!

💛 I do have some piercings. Just in my ear lobes though. I have two in my right ear and one in my left. I think I eventually want to get one or two in my left helix as a sort of asymmetrical "balance." But that's it. I don't think I want any piercings in any place other than my ears.

🐶 I'm definitely a cat person. I like both well- and ill-behaved cats, but I cannot stand a dog with no manners. But I don't hold it against the dogs... mostly the dog owners

✨ I do have some nicknames! Some people call me Naonu occasionally because for a long time the IRS thought that was my name, and that's funny, so I tell people about it. I also write that name on my cup at parties on the off chance there's another Naomi (which has actually happened more than once).

🦉 I would say that my natural tendency is to be a morning person, but I adapt my schedule to more closely match my partners, both of whom are night owls to the extreme

🍪 I think I'd be a black pepper sugar cookie with orange-flavored sugar glaze. I made that cookie once and I've never had it anywhere else. It's sweet, one-of-a-kind, and has an unexpected little bit of spice/kick to it

🙃 I'm full of weird little music history facts, but the one I've been sharing with people recently is that, according to medieval and early-modern Europeans (mostly poets and composers), the sparrow is the horniest bird!
