Session starts an hour and half before the gallery opens to the public

Some of the gallery space is quite echoey as voices bounce off the walls in the exhibition. So it can feel a lot louder than it actually is.

They only provide child sized ear defenders so bring your own if needed.

Lighting it pretty consistent

There are screens showing moving images or photos. The largest across the wall, shows clips of her movies without sound.

A lot quieter than I imagine it is normally.

Free use of the cloakroom and paper towels option in the toilets.

I didn’t use the toilets as they didn’t seem to be ready, or least unwelcoming with the cleaner shutting the door.

You don’t have access to the rest of the gallery apart from the toilets

I’d do the experience again if others come up for later special galleries.

The bench are set out with things for younger visitors but I'm guessing they wouldn't be too upset if adults who need to touch some of the tactile things laid out.
