Just because you don’t like the way a law works, doesn’t make it a “loophole”.
As a gun collector who has been to numerous gun shows, I’m going to let you in on a secret about the infamous “Gun Show Loophole”. The truth is, it doesn’t exist. If an FFL sells a gun at a gun show, it is required by federal law to have the purchaser fill out a federal 4473 form and complete a federal NICS background check. Just like anywhere else outside of a gun show. However, if two private parties are transferring a firearm through a private transaction a background check is not required so long as the purchaser is not legally barred from buying and/or owning a firearm. Just like anywhere else outside of a gun show.
And the so called “Online Loophole”? Also, does not exist. All FFL firearms purchases in all fifty states require a federal 4473 form to be completed and a federal NICS background check to be passed. This is federal law and applies to all sales, even those made online. When someone buys a gun online, it doesn’t just get delivered to their house. That gun gets delivered the the a licensed dealer near the purchaser, the purchaser must then go in person to that licensed dealer, fill out a 4473 form, pass a NICS background check, and pay a transfer fee. Only after all of this is completed can the purchaser leave with their new firearm.
“The Charleston Loophole”
The so called “Charleston Loophole” is also a load of bull. It is not a loophole at all. It’s how the Brady law works.
Under current federal law, the FBI performs background checks on would be gun buyers in South Carolina and 29 other states through its National Instant Criminal Background Check System. The rest of the states do their own background checks. If the check isn’t denied or completed in three days, the gun seller can proceed with the sale.
Those three days were at the heart of the the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, which passed in 1993. In November 1993, Democrats voted for an amendment imposing an instant background check instead. The problem was technology for instant checks didn’t exist at the time.
The final version of the Brady bill was passed and signed into law on Nov. 30, 1993. It prohibited the transfer of a gun to an unlicensed individual, unless three business days have lapsed and the system has not notified the transferor that it would violate the law.
THIS IS NOT A LOOPHOLE! This is a law that DEMOCRATS voted into place!
Furthermore, the notion that closing this so called “Charleston Loophole” would have prevented the Charleston attack has been thoroughly debunked as well.
“Hold Gun Manufacturers Accountable”
Should we also be able to sue Chevy when a drunk driver gets into a wreck? Or maybe we should be able to sue Budweiser as well? Or Firestone for making the tires? Oh, I know! Let’s sue the grocery store that sold the drunk driver his beer! After that we can also sue the gas station that let him fill his car up. After all, if they wouldn’t have helped him, he wouldn’t have been able to commit his crime.
Should I be able to lighter and match manufacturers if my house burns down? Can we now sue spoon and fork manufacturers because our children are obese?
I’m curious here. Where’s the line on this one?
“Military Style Weapons Are Advertised Irresponsibly”

Bullshit. I don’t even need to argue this one. It’s just plain bullshit. By enacting laws that make it harder for law abiding citizens to practice and flex their 2nd Amendment rights and do nothing to punish criminals or make society safer as a whole, you are doing just that. You are hurting and taking away the rights of gun owners. Plain and simple.
