Hello again
Just realized I haven't been on here in awhile. Oops. Well I have traveled back to Florida since last time. Cost of living was expensive in California plus the living arrangements were not working so decided to go back home. Still work for Hobby Lobby and working more in the fabric department but didn't get the full time position that I was hoping for. Might go work at a new location starting next month. Still doing creative things but not as often like I was in California. Doing more reading and reading challenges. Later will post them when I get a new laptop or tablet. Have a great weekend

Welcome to Camp!!
Welcome to Camp! It's April and time for Camp Nanowrimo. This is an offshoot of November's Nanowrimo where the work count is what you set and we get put into cabins. Haven't been the greatest with it since I have been sick a few days but will push on. Still want to keep with the fantasy theme as my November project but gearing towards Angels and demons. Might link it with the other project but it's early yet. This time I have my bullet journal to keep me organized along with my big journal. Writing is helping me try to stay focus but others are saying I can do something better with my time. They don't know that being creative is my out so I don't be depressed or moody. My writing (both stories and letters)/reading/painting is my expression of who I really am. I want to show the world my talent. I am worth it! Along with Camp Nanowrimo there is also Napowrimo which is writing poetry which I am trying to do. Month of love letters too. Keep your hands and mind busy now that way it doesn't get affected later in life.

End of #incowrimo/letters of the month
Well tomorrow will be the end of the month of letters and international correspondence writing month. Sad that it is over but I did get a chance to interact with new people. I finished the challenge for a change and I realized a few things: need more stationary stores in the area, stock up on stamps both international and domestic,and postcards are being hard to find. It got my creative juices going and this month I will be resting with challenges but in April more writing is happening. #Campnanowrimo is in April and already have three stories in my head. Already planning this year's #nanowrimo material. So being creative to keep my mind off things like depression.

This month I decided to try something new. Found out that November is National Novel Writing Month and I said what the heck I’ll try it. I had this idea in my head for awhile so started it. Sadly I haven’t hit the midway point but still hustling along. The whole goal is to write 50K or more words. Later in December and in the new year the writers publish their work. If I don’t finish in time I will still write it and do it again next November if everything falls in place. If you want to write a novel what would it be about?
I am also working on sewing and painting projects, but so far nothing is finished to post here. Next week is Thanksgiving and this will be my third time being without my family. It is going to be weird, but I am thinking of them constantly. What is your family tradition for this holiday? Happy holidays to one and all! May your life be filled with joy, love, happiness, and thankfulness. Hope to write again on here soon.

DIY Wallflowers Scented Plugin
i’m about to get hippie on you all. plugin air fresheners (and tons of other stuff) have something called VOC in them. VOC stands for “volatile organic compounds” and they are highly toxic. they are chemicals with a low boiling point.
VOC cause all sorts of problems in your body: infertility (some of you may like that!), headaches, nervous system disorders, memory loss and cancer for both your pet and you…. lots of things.
i was bummed when i learned about this and unplugged mine. being a packrat i couldn’t bring myself to toss it out and thought, maybe i’ll just plug it in for the holidays and poison my loved ones only a few times a year.
then i had a bright idea: replace the bad stuff with good stuff: essential oils, which are awesome for you and, sometimes a lot cheaper than the liquid cancer bath and body works sells.
