just watched sweetpea and i would recommend it to the following people

fans of thrillers

fans of pathetic loser women

fans of women who are violent and unhinged

people who needs lots of external validation

toxic lesbians enjoyers

i just finished sweetpea earlier today, on the afternoon.

it's a great watch, not only bc ella nailed her performance (she really deserves an emmy for that one), but also bc of the discussion on repressed anger issues, female rage, PTSD, self-sabotage, responsability over one's own actions etc

it's very heavy tho, the show is very triggering if you have gone thru some of those things (the bullying and panic attack scenes were particularly hard for me to watch), so, there is a warning on bullying and depictions of trauma, explicit violence scenes, blood etc. so, be careful if these things are too hard to watch

all in all, it feels like one of those very heavy and cathartic therapy sessions that get you staring into the emptiness

Why isn't there more people talking about Sweetpea? The show is pretty entertaining, Ella did such an fantastic job with Rhiannon, she's really an amazing actress with many talents for different types of characters, she got to show a very different side with this one and I really believe she nailed it
