I’ve never loved Sam Wilson so much in my life.

The man can read a room. The way he spoke softly with Bucky, matching his tone, when they were on the plane after meeting John Walker... He kept the conversation civil and logical to keep Bucky’s emotion in check. (One of my favorite scenes of ep. 2)

Balances emotion and logic. He acts on emotion but also thinks logically and listens which can be seen a lot when he was with Steve (and now with Bucky). For example, when Bucky left the car with Walker, Sam stayed and let Walker finish speaking before getting out. Even though Walker consistently insulted them and didn’t deserve to be heard.

Maintains an empathetic open mind. When Bucky, Walker, Hoskins, and Sam talked about the Flag Smashers. Sam proposes, just once, they could just be trying to help people. It’s shot down by the ass-clown Walker but Sam has empathy for them and considers every angle of the situation without jumping to conclusions.

Patient and keeps his temperament in check. He will firmly defends himself and others with a level head. But he never gets riled up unless he has a good reason like when he finds out about Isaiah. He has every right to be angry in that moment

Always fights for what is right. THE MAN DROPPED EVERYTHING TO HELP STEVE OUT OF THE BLUE AFTER MEETING HIM TWICE! Two damn times. Come on!

...But always keeps things light and fun. This is seen throughout his time in the MCU. (which is also what Bucky desperately needs. His therapist told him too)

Always says the right thing and affirms what people need to hear. He says it whether they want to or not. He is logical but maintains respect. This can be seen with Bucky consistently, probably because he was working at the VA for vets with PTSD.

Incredibly compassionate. He is a good man which is why he got the shield. This show just proves it. It shows us what Steve saw in him! Bucky beat his ass in WS and he didn’t move his seat up for him CW but the man still TEXTED BUCKY FOR MONTHS DESPITE BEING IGNORED because he knows he’s in pain.

Handles situations with such grace and poise. This is despite the stress and grief that systemic racism brings and despite being absolutely humiliated and heartbroken when they gave the shield to Walker. He gives me grounded Black Panther energy.

Unbelievably charming, hilarious, and charismatic family man who never gives up. NOT ONCE do you see him complaining about money or making demands. He doesn’t get a loan in episode 1 for the boat but says he’ll go to every bank in the area.

GREAT WITH CHILDREN which is why he and Bucky get along lol

YES, Bucky has been my favorite MCU character since forever and yeah, Bucky’s story is sad and heartbreaking...

BUT you are... blind and/or utterly ignorant if you don’t see how heartbreaking it is for Sam.

He is holding it together BECAUSE HE HAS TO! He doesn’t get the option to act on his emotions and throw a tantrum as a black man. He moves forward because he has to and he continues to fight for a country that doesn’t respect him. These are real world issues. Respect him and his journey.

(Rewatch the episodes. Watch his expressions. Mackie went to Julliard he knows what he is doing. His acting is brilliant.)

Sam is such a good person and an incredible character. I LOVE how tfatws is finally showing it. Like that is Captain effing America. I have immense respect for this character and...

YES, I am now 200% in love with Sam Wilson.

the singer sia is an ableist

((i know scrolling through and reblogging long posts can be annoying sometimes, but if you have the time please read through and reblog because i’m sick and people need to know about this))

this movie is called music and it’s about a supposedly about a nonverbal, austistic girl named music. the problem? music is played by maddie ziegler

maddie is neurotypical (individuals of typical developmental, intellectual, and cognitive abilities,) ie: she is NOT on the spectrum and NOT disabled. so there’s the first issue. but then we get into sia’s response to the whole thing which ends up being worse somehow

people are obviously and rightfully upset with maddie’s casting.

so what was sia’s response to the criticism?

“oh well, we tried”

now i work as a paraprofessional in an elementary school and many of our students are on the spectrum, nonverbal, disabled, or some combination of all three and/or more. sometimes working with students with disabilities can be challenging but the biggest lesson i have learned in the last 3 years is that there are always ways to be ACCOMMODATING because it often is a LOT more difficult for the student who is neurodiverse than the adult who is neurotypical. i have seen tremendous growth when working with students with educational and social disabilities when they are given the appropriate accommodations, patience, and understanding.

the actress sia and this team worked with probably did find the whole situation daunting and stressful, because like the fucking movie says in the trailer, her brain is DIFFERENT FROM OURS. if this movie was really about spreading awareness about disabilities, they would have accommodated to the actress so that she could work stress free and feel safe and if they couldn’t figure out how to do that, they shouldn’t have made the fucking movie at all

sia also manages to criticize sex workers and people struggling from addictions at the same time during her “defense”

this one actress states that she and many other austistic actors said they would be a part of the movie short notice

to which sia had to say this

i’m not trying to be a proponent of cancel culture but this is fucking DISGUSTING. sia is trying to justify her actions with ableist bullshit. she’s upset that people are judging her movie “before they’ve seen it” when it’s CLEARLY NOT WORTH SEEING because like many people have pointed out, this movie is NOT an accurate portrayal of disabilities, not accessible, the people involved clearly didn’t put the effort and time into making something that actually brought any kind of awareness, and all of this boils down to sia and her team being a bunch of ableist who weren’t willing to put in the effort or time.

imagine having such a large platform as these celebrities have and creating an ableist, garbage piece of media that only polarizes and discriminates even further and then acting like you’re the victim in the situation. i’m DISGUSTED, APPALLED, ANGERED, and OUTRAGED and you should too.

people on the spectrum matter, nonverbal people matter, people with disabilities matter, neurodiverse people matter.

while we do our social justice thing to shut down racism, sexism, homophobia, etc, let’s remember to shut down ableism as well because it fucking matters too

okay what if billkin n ppkrit’s version of 如何（rúhé）express and show their feelings as teh and oh aew?

let’s start with billkin’s version. it starts with drums and already have a very loud beginning. when the chorus hit you hear that it is a powerful ballad with many louder instruments in the background. what i’m thinking is that from teh’s perspective he sees his feelings as messy and loud. in the bridge other people are singing and the song only gets higher notes and attack the listener. in this case, teh feels that he doesn’t understand. he gets louder in the song: he calls for help. he has many feelings for what he’s feeling towards oh aew and can’t pinpoint exactly what: the song over and over again changes rhythm and musical instruments and even volume of the song.

then for pp’s version. here the song is a 180. it starts with a soft piano and a blow instrument. his voice is more comforting when he starts singing and way calmer than billkin’s. as the chorus begins, pp doesn’t raise his voice and the pacing of the song never changes and the calm feeling remains even in the second verse. oh aews feelings in this scenario is that he is more sure of his feelings. in the beginning, yes, he did have feelings for bas and for a while both bas and teh. but he has never been so sure that he feels love towards teh. he doesn’t ask for help, bc he doesn’t need it. in the part where no words utter, only pp’s voice painfully singing alone with a piano is countered by billkin’s version where other people are singing and it’s an actual opera behind him. teh only ever saw them as friends and want to remain friends with oh aew. teh keep his friends close and never feel alone when he’s with them, therefore the song is more powerful and you don’t feel alone. he also feels (felt) a mutual love for tarn. with oh aew, he feels alone even with people and feels alone in his pining for teh. therefore he’s alone

these songs i feel represent their feelings perfectly. with a loud song expressing the confusion and stress revolving teh’s feelings and a quiet and vulnerable feeling to oh aew’s song.

I have to vent.

The growth that Pang and Wave are exposing us to is so crucial to everything that is going to happen from here. And I can't properly formulate my words, because I am so taken aback by everything they've done.

The amount of trust between them is so pure and it just hits you right in the heart.

The way that Pang immediately jumped to his feet when Wave told him about the command that Supot had issued. The moment when he thought that Wave is in danger, and he just has to not let it happen. To the next moment when the realization of what Wave has done hits you. The way one can see how fear creeps up on his face. How he goes pale in a second. How he loses it right there. This was the last straw. This is the exact moment when Pang lost his confidence, convictions, bravery. Thats the moment Pang was weak. And I cannot comprehend how he didn't just break down. He then says those words. The world will be a better place without him and he believes it. He truly believes it. And I cannot explain how in place that felt. He realizes he has lost. Supot has gotten his hands on the only thing, the only person who can make him bow. And he's certain he has to do it for Wave. He knows he'll do everything for Wave. And this is where the real growth is. If this was first season he'd remain cocky and continue fighting, but here we have something much stronger, that has become his drive out of nowhere. Here we have a Pang that is in so much shit, and yet all he can think of is Wave.

And Wave? He has gone through so much. He was used to not trusting and not believing in the people around him, used to being all by himself. And here we see him being the most selfless human being. And it hits your right in the heart when he goes to Pang and you just know that he has done the deed nonetheless. He doesn't care about himself. Pang is the only moon that orbits him, his only salvation. And when he confirms Pang's worst fears, he crumbles. He goes defensive and shouts. He gets angry and its not even at Pang. He gets mad at himself for making Pang feel like this. And he hates every moment when he says those words. Its just so beautiful to watch this relationship explored in such a vulnerable way.

Words can't describe everything that I'm feeling.

I’m so stupid for never giving up on you

. That’s it thats the whole stupid basis of these twos relationship now. What they’ve become is so much more than just rivals who hates each other in season 1, friends who learnt that they enjoyed spending time together towards the end of season 1, accomplices when they realised they both trusted each other and wanted the same thing, to now this: no matter how GMMTV phrase it these two are in love, deep, unconditional, uncontrollable love. The kind of love where they can’t stop thinking about the others happiness before theirs, the kind where the world revolves around them trusting and believing each other, the one where their strength is each other’s presence and faith, the one where they will always choose each other no matter through thick and thin, the good and the bad. It isn’t just Pangs ideology Wave believes in and keeps sticking to, but no it’s Pang, he won’t give up on what they have, he can’t imagine a possibility where Pang isn’t on his side, isn’t by his side, we saw how it much it hurt this episode when they separated. It’s Pang who he can’t give up on more than his potential (his most loved thing about himself, his lifeline, the one thing he clung to whe he couldn’t believe in people), more than his life, more than his own opinions and beliefs. It’s Pang who he’ll always give in to, always wait for and always believe in. Because it’s Pang from the beginning he saw him, it’s always been Pang who he won’t give up on (annoying, frustrating, and then also loving). These two are more than friends they’re in love. And that’s what the truth is.

Just another #2Moons2 #MingKit post...

Let me talk to y’all about my favourite couple on my favourite show right now.

It’s Ming (Joong Archen Aydin) and Kit (Nine Kornchid).

Like, every single MingKit scene is a romantic epiphany.

Sure they started out not interacting, so it’s easy to overlook them if you haven’t read the books (like me) or seen the first season (which I have, but the #2Moons2 reboot is on a whole other level). Their first interaction was in the Moon/Star practice room, where Ming ignores Kit in favour of talking to Beam but Kit low-key checks him out with a little look (that Nine does so well) and a once-over as Ming walks away.

Ming didn’t really acknowledge Kit until the beach trip, but we find out he’s known who Kit was…always. Then, in Ep. 9, we find out he’s been watching Kit since Grade freakin’ 9! Ming even followed him home once just so he would know where to walk Kit home if he ever worked up the courage to ask him out. He’s been watching Kit from the sidelines because, as he told Beam, Kitkat was “so small back then, such a lovely boy - just like he is now”. He was charmed that Kit’s family was so protective over their lovely little son, and I think it’s made Ming protective of him too, subconsciously at first and then very much consciously. I can just imagine confident player Ming flirting with all those girls he’d gone out with in high school and not quite sure why he’s always so distracted when cute little Kitkat walks by.

Like, look at how Ming looks at Kit:

(Spoiler alert: Joong looks at Nine like this a lot too).

That Ming adores Kit is a given; the boy is whipped and let’s thank a whipped Joong for bringing how much he stans his co-star in real life to the role of Ming; Nine is remarkable as Kit and I cannot believe this is his first acting role. Nine also obviously adores Joong and is annoyed by Joong in equal measure and it seeps through a little bit whenever Kit is with Ming.

Let’s face it, these two love each other: Nine lets Joong crash in his dorm room for days at a time, he drives him wherever he needs to go, he tutors him into the night, he pushes him to study for his exams, he gets up when Joong wakes him at midnight, hungry and whiny like the growing boy he is, and makes him a delicious-looking beef curry… oh, you thought this happens on the show? Nah, fam, this is real-life.

(Spoiler alert: This is how Nine looks at Joong most of the time lol).

Nine and Joong are so, so, so good at showing what Kit and Ming are feeling on their faces and they play off each other so well because they are best friends in real life and they’re always in each other’s orbits. Their kisses are natural and sweet and sensual and romantic and they exude a soft sexiness that makes me melt.

It’s quite literally breathtaking.

*This was also Joong’s first ever kiss and he had it with Nine! He’s also had his second, third and every other kiss since with Nine and I think that’s a little ( a lot) magical.

Thanks to @joongnine here’s how they hugged at their epic confession scene in Ep. 9 (which was a whole-ass MingKit episode that I have probably watched more than 50 times, yolo)

I love Ming and Kit but I love Joong and Nine: their chemistry, their friendship, the way they look at each other - that affection and trust and understanding and comfort and love that they have for one another is so rare. The fact that these very young actors feel secure and safe enough along with their co-stars (who are also lovely, talented guys), and with their production team, to demonstrate that love to us is a blessing. I’m so super thankful to the casting directors including the executive producers, director Aam Anusorn and writer Chiffon Cake for trusting their instincts about not only Joong and Nine, but also Ben and Earth (#PhaYo) and Pavel and Dome (#ForthBeam). Perfect casting, perfect characterisation - they got everything right.

There are 2 episodes left in the series and I know I’m going to feel so lost without this show. On the bright side, I still have Ming and Kit being all flirty at the gym to look forward to:

I hope #2Moons3 becomes a reality soon. I need to see these characters grow and develop further, especially now that they’ve found the loves of their lives.
