I have, quite literally, aged two years since I started this project. And you can only kinda see where the dye lots got fucked up.

IM FREEEEE. (I was also working on the Balatro one at the same time, I hadn’t completely given up)

I mean this in all honesty, I don’t know what Joann closing will mean for the future of my blankets. As the journey with this blanket showed, getting my hands on colors I don’t have is now infinitely harder, especially because I can’t buy in person anymore.

I need your help. I want to make a Balatro joker for my next blanket but I do not know which one.

Im an currently in some binds which limit which ones I can do, including the general lack of yarn colors combined with the low pixel count (this makes jokers with a gradient more difficult) and a need to use yarn I already have.

Help me make the final decision. (Let me know if a bracket would be better)

Sooo my Michaels yarn section got even more nerfed as it takes in more fabric. It’s down to an aisle and a half.

That is to say I had to go to a local yarn store to get a very specific red, because I guess localthunk didn’t consider which colors are readily available in value yarn.

That one color cost $18 - I don’t intend to do that again.

Scooby doo blanket actually almost done (not clickbait) I need to stop getting lifed in the ass so I can knock out these last 12k stitches.

Very slowly and very surely. I’m going to try to punch this out in a week. I’d hate to start school again and keep delaying this project.

Immediately after posting this I realized I majorly fucked up ten rows ago.

Guys I ran out of yarn again. Me from over a year ago couldn’t count for shit.

Fortunately this time it’s a red heart super saver color so I should be able to get more Thursday. I need to go Michael’s anyway to see what my yarn selection will look like for the foreseeable future. (Rip big twist value, truly no match in color selection, relative non-scratchiness and affordability)

I am so so so so close to done with this blanket.

RIP to my little yarn eating buddy.

Here he is laying on my first ever pixel art blanket.

The blanket was (accidentally) so big that I had to sit on it while crocheting, from time to time he‘d join in.
