Yesterday I had one of the best days I’ve ever had. I met with a friend I met last year in Hifest, she has been one of he few friends I’ve made and has made my time in Europe so much better and less lonely, less stressful. She lives in Germany, we were far from each other but agreed to meet in the middle, we visited Goslar which is a beautiful town, like a visit to the past (it’s a UNESCO Heritage site). We had a proper drawing date and tea and pizza and a visit to a garden with the most beautiful cherry tree I’ve ever seen. Yesterday it felt like a really good first day in Sweden 🇸🇪. Even though I’ve been here for almost 9 months! We had ice cream and watched the seagulls and the swans at the pier and walked through the center of Stockholm, checking out places that inspired Kiki’s delivery service backgrounds ✨ it was great (at Kungsgatan)

I made this illustration for a contest and failed, but I’m very happy with it and want to share it with you! And that makes me smile, because you know what? A lot of illustrations I loved I’m now embarrassed to see and others I still like even after several years, I’m honestly happy to be able to keep making new things so I can look back and see how much progress I made 😊 I’m about to embark in something new and it might be great or possibly a new failure, but I’m happy to give it my best try. ✨ ..... #illustrator #watercolor #conceptart #lechienandalou #winsorandnewton ..... Hice esta ilustración para un concursó y fallé, pero cuando la veo estoy contenta con ella y quería compartirla. La verdad es que hay ilustraciones que he hecho que ahora me dan pena y otras que incluso después de varios años me siguen gustando, y me da gusto poder seguir haciendo cosas para tener algo que ver hacia atrás y ver que estoy mejorando:) Estoy a punto de intentar algo nuevo y puede ser algo maravilloso pero también puedo volver a fallar, pero me da gusto poder intentarlo con todas mis ganas✨
