Good to see you traveler,
and welcome to my humble library.
My name is @natschypan, and it is my pleasure to introduce you to this part of my life.
As a child I loved reading but now, being an adult with work and a busy life, I kinda lost this love.
But to rekindle with my dear books and stories I want to make this small blog to post my current reads, some reviews and all that fun stuff about reading.
I properly will talk about some fanfictions as well, and if you are a writer and need someone to read your story, feel free to hit me up. You can look up my fandoms on my main, but I also don't mind reading your own projects or fanfics about fandoms I'm not in.
While the first chapter was difficult to read, it changes quickly and becomes really interesting and fun.
The beginning, for my liking, is way too over-dramatized. Too much description to the point where the plot is lost. It's hard to follow the narrator because of all the descriptive writing.
But this changes in chapter 2, and we also get the first real conversations with other humans, which also helps to understand the motives and actions of the protagonists.
Another criticism could be the missing paragraphs, but I'm not quite sure if this is just a mistake.
On the positive side, I have to say that my favorite character is and probably always will be the horse of the protagonist. Because while so much is happening around them, it is just so brutally unbothered by anything - I love it!
I also love the relationship development between Kerioth and Emmanuel, the main protagonists. Especially with all the twists and changes between them. They are just chefs' kiss!
So if you like a good bible gay retelling, this book could be your next!
*about the score: I rate my personal liking. Most likely considering writing style, plot, and world/character lore and relatability. If I read something with our world history, I may also look at the accuracy.
Disclaimer: The following contains my bookmarked Fanfictions on AO3. I don't know the authors and don't follow them closely. I just read and liked their work and wanted to share those stories. Please let me know if there is anything wrong or if the links have stopped working. Thanks and have fun reading!

Okay where do I even begin? A Forest Of Vanity And Valour is a dark fantasy reimagining of Robin Hood, but it feels more like a wannabe version. It's fast, hectic, and tries so desperately to be edgy - it isn't.
I stopped reading about in the middle because the two male narrators are so mysognistic and full of sexual tension, it was difficult to focus on anything else.
SPOILERS: Also, the "good" guy was so unthankful and unfair to his best friends who still followed him after he ruined their lives that I just wanted to punch him. Also, he was so busy crying for himself that he never cared about the feelings and thoughts of those around him.
But I have to give credit here - I like the idea and the concept. I liked the way it could have been if it weren't for the points above. I also have to mention that A Forest Of Vanity And Valour is A.P. Beswick first book. So I hope he learned something and maybe I can revisit this book and the following because like I said I like the concept about a dark retelling of all these tales and legends.
