Okay, boomer.
BET.
I’ve never taken an actual break from Tumblr, just said I was and scrolled the dash. But for mental health reasons these past few months, I have. Naturally if you’ve followed me around, you may know some of those reasons. I’ve not actually opened Tumblr in quite some time aside very recently, and I’ve felt so much better. It was a much needed break, and while I’m going to continue that break, I’m making this post to let y’all know I’m doing much better mentally.
I WILL be returning in the future, sometime soon. That is a promise.

I’ll be returning to this blog again sometime soon. I’m sorry for disappearing again, but I’ve been pushed into severe anxiety. However, I’m getting over that anxiety better now. There will be updates to this blog’s rules soon to further protect my anxiety from sparking. I will be namedropping two people who will be added to my rules as people I wish to avoid for the sake of people’s comfort under this read more.

@theabyssalmuses God your portrayal is so so good. i can literally hear his voice when i read it, i can imagine it all so clearly and just. god. it's all so amazing. I can see him doing the things you write him doing and saying the things you write him saying. for this i say you should change your discord status. You are not 'the better silverash' you are 'the best silverash' beep beep how’s my portrayal?

In all seriousness, thank you Hime! I know I act like I have a big ego about my SilverAsh portrayal (I do, but sometimes I play it up to be more than what it is), but this type of positive encouragement really helps me believe it to actually be true. I do think I write a damn good Ash, and honestly yeah, I believe myself to be the best because I’ve seen a lot of Ash writers not portray him too accurately.
Of course, this isn’t to say people aren’t portraying him well or bash any portrayals. I just feel like a lot of people miss out on what makes Ash, well, Ash. The Old English, the way he reacts to situations, his thought process, etc etc. Maybe that really is just my ego but, I don’t know. It’s been a while since I’ve felt so strongly confident.

Like any other operation, Enciodas directed himself to the front line. After all, he took direct charge whilst Katalina was comatose. Now that she was awake, he no longer needed to keep that role (though he still reviews operation reports). Katalina was going to announce that she needed to halt her involvement with direct involvements against Reunion, but she was using this operation of repelling them as her excuse to do it. Something he respected, albeit did not understand.
It didn’t take long, not with him being involved alongside the likes of Jessica, Gravel and Lappland. The members of Reunion they were repelling were either forced to retreat or killed on the spot. They weren’t anything special, simply weak minded fools who chose the wrong following.
However, for the first time in many years, he made a critical error. He allowed one member of Reunion to live. Perhaps to save the eyes of the current Katalina who was still coming into the mess her old self was part of, or perhaps it was an attempt at becoming a the man his sisters remember (or an exemplary father?) again.
As he turns his back to the last remaining member, Katalina was left in the Reunion member’s line of sight; and without a second thought, they charged at the seemingly defenseless Doctor with a knife pulled from their boot. They did, however, give their charge away via their loud footsteps, which did not go unnoticed to Enciodas’ ears.
“Katalina!” Much like the member of Reunion, SilverAsh acted without thinking twice; springing directly in-front of them before their blade could reach Katalina. Though they were just mere inches from Katalina, their path was blocked by the towering figure that defeated them moments ago -- but their blade still had momentum on its side, so rather than Katalina, the blade was to pierce SilverAsh.
Rather than pierce into him, Enciodas moves (just barely) to the side as to not allow them to directly stab him, rather cut him. Which of course, is exactly what happens; though it is not a stab wound, he is still left with a gash across his waist to the corner of his back. He doesn’t allow this to go unpunished, and immediately brings his own blade to the Reunion member’s chest - piercing their heart and killing them where they stood.
As their body falls and lay motionless, Enciodas looks over his shoulder to Katalina to assure she was untouched. “..Art thou untouched? ..Good.”
