I'm currently working with Sean Martindale on a project sponsored by Toronto's Solid Waste Management for Nuit Blanche (Oct. 3). We have been granted unprecedented access to transfer stations, recycling plants, organic digesters, reuse centers, and landfills. Inspired by the methods of sensory ethnography, we are hoping to bring the secrets of these spaces into public view. I am pictured here shooting some video of a front-loader driving through a surge pit. #likeakidinacandystore #garbage
I'm currently an artist in residence at the #Banff Centre as part of the Banff Research in Culture program. This morning I hiked Tunnel Mountain and got this view of the centre. My office/studio is in that building down on the bottom left. Perfect place to finish my thesis for #OCAD.
It is officially June! Everything here is blooming and all explosions of colour. I am at the Banff Centre this month doing a residency. More on that soon. I've also got some new work on display in Ottawa and Toronto. I'm hunkering down for some writing, editing, and mountain views. Hope your summer is twisting itself into good shape!

Excited to be a part of the amazing print exhibit @unlimited_fourplay, which runs APRIL 21-26 in Brighton, UK, at @boxpark. Forty artists, four-spot-colour offset prints, four letter words. It will continue to tour, so keep your eyes peeled! #isometric
A little experiment from a forthcoming publication by Double D's. #Risograph
A short video of the mechanical process of making a "master". #Risograph printing is a stencil based process and requires a new wax-paper master for each layer. The machine does everything automatically and produces the smeary rainbow you see at the beginning after thousands of layers. At the end, the disposal tray full of old masters needs to be cleared every twenty layers or so. It's a messy/clean kind of thing.
