Today is Evelyn's birthday! You don't see much of her while playing from her perspective, but she likes hoodies.

She feels lucky to have a summer birthday because she doesn't get showered in attention from teachers or classmates. Everything is nice and quiet. Though her birthday doesn't occur in the novel, I imagine she gets bombarded with texts from her new friends now.

I was behind in drawing art because of my addiction to DK64 randomizer (dot com), so naturally the only way to catch up was to draw DK65 fan art. I think I could've made her hair floofier, but the shading was fun. Her design is so simple but so cute. 🥺💕

Although it doesn't happen during the novel, Ravi likes large parties where he invites everyone he could possibly know. Maybe, for our protagonist's sake, he could be talked into having a smaller celebration on the side as well.

When Fern braided Frieren's hair, I thought, why doesn't she do that to Stark? Seeing as she can both hate braid and affection braid. Comments on Reddit called this a "premarital braid."

I don't mind whether they get together or not. I just like how close they are. 🥰

Tried a 1 hour challenge to get some art done, and the randomizer filled my brain with these goofy monkeys. Didn't quite finish in under an hour (maybe 90 min? 2 hours?) but it turned out okay. First DK series fan art.

I was making such good strides with monthly art. Then I got sick and while sick I learned about dk64randomizer.com and my husband got an Analogue3D with which to play it whoops

I've played 12.5 randomizer runs and I haven't gone to bed on time in like 3 weeks

Though it doesn't occur in the novel's timeline, surely the others will throw him a party when they all come back from vacation. Nothing makes him as happy as being surrounded by the people he loves.

Made another one of these after the one from last year turned out fun.

I managed to finish a drawing a month on average, so that's rad. 🕺 As long as I could drum up something I actually wanted to draw, it was felt possible.

I don't really wanna be locked into any fandoms, but I keep going back to Pokemon. Their character designers and writers are on another level. 😅 With my visual novel finished around October, there hasn't been a huge reason to draw more for them (besides their birthdays, which are still going). I'd still like to do more original art, though... didn't quite reach my own goals with my VN.

I've been learning a lot using references, even if those references are sometimes just Clip Studio's 3D models. But I think the Adorka Stock models have been used just about as much.

Celia would love all of the dresses, but I kept my eye out for a hoodie that not only matched but also had the more muted style that Evelyn could be talked into wearing. She's probably still by shy about dressing up this much, but Celia's glad to have a partner in fluff.

I've been wanting to draw Corbeau for a month, but one stream I blurted out "what if I just used the pose from the man dancing emoji" and it became real. I didn't question it.
