everyone’s so worried about my tree trajectory but that’s the best part about rolling downhill in tractor tires: so much of the shock is absorbed by the tire so you can pretty much do anything. in theory. i’m not a doctor I actually don’t know you could probably still die. one of the guys I roped into this went over a huge boulder and went airborn for a hot second though so that was fun

one of my favorite lotr facts is that gondorians speak sindarin as a first language and yet when faramir was talking to frodo and sam about cirith ungol he was like “we don’t know what’s in there.” like faramir. cirith ungol is sindarin for “pass of the spider.” do the math

Do that, then you have no billionaires, but you will still have suffering and dying somewhere at somepoint down the line. Then what you said becomes true about your wealth and my wealth and everyobody's wealth. Is it still inherently immoral to hold on to any sum of money while there are those who could be saved by distributing a populations weath? The two are morally equivalent. Its not up to anyone to determine where money is best spent. What if you distribute a billionaires resources and it helps in the short run but illiminates the possibility of great humanitarian progress through technological advancement or the formation of a humanitarian company? You can't just assume the worst intentions and remove their ability to make a difference in the world.
