I made this for a manga drawing contest a little while ago. It was a really fun concept, they gave a complete storyboard for a short story and you had to draw the final pages in any style you wanted. I wish there were more contests like this, I really enjoyed it! :3

Kiss of Death. One morning we heard lions calling close to camp. It was a cool winter’s morning & the roars sent a warm feeling of excitement through my body. It always does, there’s no sound like it. We found the male lions, two of them, trailing a small herd of buffalo. The buffalo were oblivious to the threat behind, not knowing was lay in store for them. Then, all of a sudden, the buffalo stopped and started to rest. One by one they lay down, and so did the lions. It was bizarre. Just like that, it seemed to be over. After a few minutes, I decided to brew a cup of coffee for us. Just as I plunged the coffee, a male lion rose to his feet, and made a beeline for the buffalo, catching them completely off guard, and us too! I threw the coffee to the ground & shouted “go go go”! My guide wasted no time & put pedal to the metal! Seconds later we parked up next to the scene of the action, and to this day I’ve not seen anything like it! An epic battle between to of Africa’s greatest rivals!

From what I gather they seem more jumpscare-y than actually scary, so he gets annoyed until it startles him into throwing his headphones, then permanently ragequits. Notable: Sheriff is not a gamer, his Minecraft gameplay is building a dirt hut and then dying somewhere cold and lonely in a ravine
