Carlos Daniel Perez-Boza is a self-taught artist hailing from New York City. He works in painting, drawing, design and urban arts bi-coastal and resides in San Francisco. Originally from Puerto Rico, his work--which takes on abstract, representational and symbolic forms--is heavily inspired by the rich iconographies of indigenous peoples, diverse superstitions and current public conspiracy theories. A dense network of personal, political, cultural and esoteric symbols provide the structure, narrative and mood of his colorful dreamscapes.

Title "AKIRA 23" Heavily influenced by the 1%, channelling their corrupt thoughts projecting it onto a visual representation. My sources; The Media, Police Brutality on a global scale, World Domination, Global Elites, Cern, Economic Crisis, Syria's Refugees, Revolutionary movements, Politics, Jade Helms, KKK, and my least favorite, the foolish idea of WW3. The tittle "AKIRA 23" is influenced by Katsuhiro Otomo's AKIRA film back in 88. The creation of a super human with God-like powers. AKIRA 23 print release will be available October. Enjoy!
