Do you ever just get really happy, knowing that you’re alive at the same time as your favourite people? Like, holy shit, one day you could be walking down the street and meet them. Or just watching a video of them and just smile because holy shit they’re such an amazing human being? Do you ever just hope that they’re feeling well and having a good day? And never wish harm on them. You get happy when you think of them. You just want the best for someone, you’ve never met or are already a part of your life. Humans are too pure.

i genuinely and thoroughly believe that my chemical romance's ‘mama’ is one of the best recent works lyrically and musically mostly due to the sheer amount of interpretations i have seen of it over the years. 

is it about a soldier writing home to his mother like the lyrics seem to suggest? is it about a cancer patient dying in his hospital bed like the rest of the album? is it about the anger a teenager directs towards his mother? is it about a child coming out to their homophobic mother? is it about anger towards the establishment? society? life in general?

tl;dr - ‘mama’ by mcr is the most underrated song from the last twenty years

Parents who have alternative kids that don’t silently brood about or just deal with their kids desicions are fucking awesome. Like parents that help their kids pick out their clothes at Hot Topic or compliments their dark outfits or crazy makeup. Parents that don’t complain about their kids music and will take them to concerts if they don’t have a ride. Parents that help their kids bleach and dye their hair and let them cut their hair however they want. Parents that let their children freely express themselves so that they are comfortable with themselves as adults are fucking amazing.
