I know things have been bad in terms of politics for a very, very long time, but I do think there is a reason to be hopeful for the future.

as long as there are people who want things to get better, things are going to get better. every new generation brings a new group of leaders that will eventually be able to make so many impactful changes.

I really do think we have a lot to look forward to, and there's a good chance we won't have to wait all that much longer

I have a confession -

I accidentally started writing a fanfiction for a piece of media i hate.

Basically, i took a break from school but didn't want to get rusty with my writing skills so I thought I'd write a fanfic about something I didn't care about. This way I wouldn't pressure myself to make it perfect and i wouldn't stress out over updates because I'm just letting it be as shitty as I please. The fandom was pretty small, so I didn't think much if it.

ISSUE IS: THE FIC BLEW UP MORE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE. I have 2k readers and 300 saves which isn't a lot but the fandom is excruciatingly nice and they leave a bunch of sweet comments on the fic so now I actually have to see it through bc people ARE in fact waiting on it BUT GOD I HATE THE SOURCE MATERIAL SO BAD WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF. I FEEL SO BAD. I PROMISED I WOULDN'T JUST LEAVE IT. Should I orphan ??

Moral of the story: if your heart isn't in something, don't do it
