People never really like gross slob gamer girls. It's just so romanticized, like, "ohh, I can turn her into a better person" and whatnot, but if they actually see a character and/or a person like that they're disgusted or annoyed.. Darumi needs someone who actually cares for her and helps her to get better
Imagine that Darumi has been made sick and forced to bear it to survive due to being fed cat food by her mother. So she sees Takumi struggling with holding it back and makes him do it. It seems really aggressive per her persona but she's really trying to help him feel better.
looking at the recent fics for the fandom on ao3 I’m not naming names but some of us are not seeing the light of heaven I think. why would you write that

And In that route she’s in a polycule with two others??? ‘You’ve probably seen it’ NO?? WHAT AND THERES APPARENTLY EVEN MORE POLYAMORY INVOLVED? AND A RANDOM ALIEN WITH HER DAUGHTER APPEAR FOR NO REASON? This game has everything man god bless you all for keeping up w everything I just find it funny to learn more about it I thought this was about war😭
Half of the takes I see on Eito are rooted in ableism, whether it be infantilization or villainization of his character. Yes, he is a morally repulsive character, and his beliefs are heavily skewed based on how he views the world. But sometimes it feels like you all act like Eito is inherently doomed as evil solely due to his condition and directly parallel real-life ableism towards disorders such as schizophrenia.
Had he been properly cared for as a child (no, hospitalizing your 5-year-old in a "prison-like" environment after a mental health crisis isn't caring for your child), it would have been entirely possible for him to turn out a better person. People become the way they are based on their surroundings.
I'm also worried that the Eito novel will fall into this same stereotype of "disabled means evil," and the fandom will flame you for calling out the ableism in that take solely because it's canon. Even the writers of whatever media can mischaracterize their own characters, and media is up to the interpetation of the audience at the end of the day.
I feel like they could either go the direction of "Eito's parents wanted the best for him and just fucked up" or "Eito's parents sucked and served as early proof for his worldviews." I feel like the first one is a much less interesting development of his character and lends much more towards the idea of him being doomed from the start. I would however love to see Eito agonise over these thoughts himself and how ableism has affected his life, though in a scenario where it's obviously not something taken as true.
The second option lends much more to the truly tragic aspects of his character, and the fact that he COULD have been saved but due to the flaws of 'humanity' he was only made worse. I also really want to see just how much the hospital affected his early life because it's so underepresented in media and I really want it to be handled well as someone with similar trauma.
Considering in 2S he thinks of himself as a defect and pivots to self-mutilation as a coping mechanism and seeks validation from others, he very well might fall victim to those beliefs himself. Sirei's language towards Eito very much enables it as well. Some of this isn't worded the best but oh well, I'm just pissed at some of y'all.
i think nozomi should get hypnotized. maybe by hiruko or darumi. get put under and told that it's okay for her to rest and relax, that she doesn't need to have the whole world weighing on her shoulders. and then she gets fucked nasty as proof of how much she's loved of course - 🌀
I want an accomplice route, not really for eitaku stuff (although it would be interesting) but for commander stuff. V’exhness route was a taste of the internal conflicts and I was significantly more fascinated with that than any of the romance. Hell, I want more stuff from the perspective of Eito or one of the commanders when Eito decided to run off. Eito didn’t seem to be especially close to any of them, since he was planning to kill them and then kill himself for V’exhness, but what were those interactions like? Or just more fics reacting to certain routes from an outside perspective. Eito runs off and then finally comes back only to find the entire SDU fully disappeared during Conspiracy route (free win i guess).
seeing stuff from this fanbase is really crazy when you are not at all attracted to any of the characters

also Moko is one of my favorite characters and I’m always surprised when I find someone that really doesn’t like her. Like running for worst character of the game level of dislike
It genuinely makes me sad how 100line has soured friendships and such. The fandom can get very sensitive about stuff, but that's not a bad thing per se. It just usually leads to undesirable outcomes and breaks.
I want to say it's like Danganronpa in its prime era without the doxxing, but I haven't experienced that, so I'll just keep quiet.
I loveee eito after the day 95 reveal but I can’t lie peak eito, to me, will always be r0 eito making everyone celebrate with the hands in the circle thing like 5 sickening times, experiencing heart palpitations because of it, coughing out an “ohh im just a poor hospitalized boy experiencing FRIENDSHIP!! for the first time. I love you guys so much I could just die!!!” through clenched teeth and then going to throw up in his sensory deprivation asylum-white room after. I really don’t think r0 eito can be topped. he’s too funny. No other route made me scream like I did when the cg of him under the bed came up. I’m just like that chud takumi because I miss his r0 act too
I need to get this off my chest. It’s very uncomfortable to see people portray Yugamu as a rapist who SA’s others. Look, I get it, he’s a pervert, and I love him for that, but that’s going too far. Personally certain things from certain routes are inconsistent to what’s been established about him. Multiple writers and all that, so not everyone was on the same page. He’s not called a “consent king” for no reason.
I’m not “erasing” anything by saying all of this. How can I “erase” something that’s not even there? Now I’m not saying he’s a saint, he’s FAR from it and I accept that, but he’s not a monster either.
