{$} there is a whistle from across the room. Vick seems to be staring at vega and signals for him to come over. What the hell did he want?

Vega ignored the whistle at first. When they actually realized there was no one else in the room, Vega looked back towards the sound just to see Vick waving his finger over. They really didn’t want to listen and just do what they were doing anyways… but maybe Vick would tell them some stuff about the game if she got on his good side.

☆⨾ 。“ what do you want? ”

“From what I've heard, you're quite the investigator, hm? Well, I just want to make sure you don't know any more than you should. What information do you have about some of the contestants here and about the show itself? I doubt you'll have much about me but if you do, those should be kept to yourself.”

{$}He spoke quietly, looking around to ensure nobody would walk in on their little discussion. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms.

☆⨾ 。“ why is it a problem? And I won’t tell you anything about what I have—who’s to say that you’re not just saying that as an excuse to get my information? ”

Vega attempted to match Vick’s quiet tone, but their loud voice wasn’t perfect enough for a whisper. Vega made a few gestures with their hand as they spoke.

“I'd be willing to do an exchange in information. Im sure someone like you is eager to learn as much as possible, no?”

{$} He raised an eyebrow, certain that this would work.

“It may cost a few chips depending on the information you would like though, with certain ones being free. But you'd get a major discount in comparison to others.”

Vega slightly grumbled, shoving a hand into their pocket and feeling around for the spare chips. They had quite a bit from roulette… but not a lot. Plus, they wanted to save them for the fan message rather than waste them on a con artist.

*Pierre hangs upside down, looking over Vega’s shoulder without a sound. They observe intently, yet their gaze wanders, disinterested, and Pierre mutters.*

“Damn. I’ve met doctors with better hand writing than you.”

The pen scratched on a piece of paper sloppily. Vega’s effort to write notes didn’t seem very grand. Honestly, it’d be surprising if Vega could read their own writing.

After the voice cut through the air, Vega looked around desperately before their gaze finally landed upwards. Seeing the person hanging upside down above them made Vega draw back.

[juno walks up from behind, poking his head out to the side and tapping on your glasses playfully.]

Vega stiffened feeling his glasses get poked at, but calmed down realizing who had approached. He quickly adjusted his glasses and sighed.

I’m not very motivated rn; schools almost out for me and I have a lot to do over the summer. I’ll try to make time for this blog since I really do love running it… but it will be very inconsistent
