GORGEOUS 😍
May your soul rest in peace ❤️🕊️🙏🏾
They tried to tell us last year that his mom being the plus one was a last minute call. So what about this year, huh? Just look how much happier, smiley, and more relaxed he is when she’s not there 🙂↔️
yes, he really is and I love it.
it's pure joy seeing him so comfortable enjoying happily this moment totally.. detoxified.
😍❤️😍🥂

Capri and Cabo both came before the Jenners — even his Cabo trip during the height of COVID was before them.
You’re right that the Vogue piece wasn’t written by his team, despite what some of your anons have suggested. And the way Timmy speaks isn’t scripted either, that’s genuinely how he talks. When someone spends years talking about being great, it can evolve into the kind of arrogance he shows now. That doesn’t come from anyone else.
People change with wealth and fame. It can bring out the best or the worst in someone, but when the worst comes out, it’s because it was already there. When he speaks, that’s him, not talking points from the Jenners. If they were managing him, they’d probably tell him to show some humility and be kinder in interviews. But they’re not.
Watching Kim Kardashian in an interview would honestly help him. She is incredibly nice in interviews - her detractors can't even lie about that. He honestly would benefit from watching lots of women in talk shows who find ways to be polite and not arrogant. It's often how we are raised and it comes naturally to us to downplay our talents and sound humble.
And the fact that you felt the need to highlight that his wealth was acquired as a way to downplay his immense privilege is… telling. Once again, it’s an example of how people tend to downplay the fact that Timothée Chalamet actually has agency.
I raised Cabo and Capri precisely because they are also examples of him being in situations that he clearly felt pressured - pressed - to be in and in which he was miserable. I don’t for a moment deny that Timmy has privilege nor agency nor mean to downplay it, only to put it in context. (And perhaps step off a moment on lecturing me about my framing of privilege when you know literally nothing about me, Anon, thank you very much. “Telling” my ass.) My starting point with him is always that these relationships have all been bearding relationships. Which de facto means that whatever his privilege/agency he has been or felt he has been unable to be himself in the most fundamental ways in order to achieve his - yes - ambitious goals. And he is right.
The industry that he’s in literally has Dune-esque wheels within wheels and the people who ultimately control the fate of the talent wield enormous and ugly power. Secrets are stock in trade, and expectations around how one identifies and presents are met or one’s career can be curtailed or ended in a heartbeat. Anyone watching him over the years can see him in constant conflict between complying and rebelling. Combined with him needing to make agreements with studios when he was still very young… Well, yes, I do view his agency within those conditions.
We may be at an impasse, Anon. I worry for him, I believe him to be deeply unhappy in his current circumstances, and I sincerely hope for him to find a way forward in which he can find a way back.
