ωᖾo: Paris Claremont & Ebeneezer Rain @ebeneezer-splooge ωᖾᥱᥒ: During The Squall (part two) the event surrounding the 1st bomb drop. ωᖾᥱɾᥱ: Outside Terra
It hadn’t been an easy task by any means, it had taken a lot of alcohol and smooth talking but here they were finally outside the Terran wall. There had been no time for goodbyes, but in a couple of hours none of it would matter.
Paris had convinced a very drunk and possibly high Benny to take a walk outside the walls with them. Paris would do whatever it would take to get Benny to the rendezvous point in the blood wood. At first they would try seduction then if that failed, there was nothing quite like a stick over the head, it should knock him out long enough to get to the camp.
The past five years had led up to this moment. Paris had spent those years, learning all they could about the Teran’s infiltrating their society to report back to Ophelia. Now their people were out there in the woods surrounding Terra and their last job of the mission was to get the prisoner back to Arlesia unharmed.
“Thanks for taking a walk with me Benny, you know sometimes I just feel so trapped in there and need an escape.” Paris said turning up their charm.

Location: Blood Woods With: Paris @parisxclaremont Time: Early morning ( Pre Part One) Flashback
Five years, five long years, he has been waiting for this moment. Waiting for the time to finally go home. Reign hadn’t thought he would miss a place so much as he missed Arlesia. Heda (his owl) had been the one to notice them first. Pulling him from his light slumber in his tree hammock: towards the army of Gryphon that filled the sky. clocked in the night. The signal of the impending battle and his cue to ready to leave. Davut Nova had filled them both in, a time was set, and they needed to meet the other camp before the second bomb. The sun had yet to rise, but the dark sky was already turning a deep but light violet. There were things he needed to tell Davut about the Outlanders about the precious water they needed. That could wait till they were in the safety of their home. Removing the cloth wrapped from around his head, he sided in relief, allowing the small pointed tips of his ears free. As the person, he’d been waiting for appeared.
“Paris,” he called towards them. When they were closer and away from prying ears, Reign tossed a canteen towards him.
They hadn’t spoken since the festival, since the dance they shared. Paris sharing that last bit of his water with him. It was the right thing to do, to replenish what was taken. “Take a drink,” a knowing smirk played at the corners of his lips. “Go on, I don’t think even the wellspring taste that good.”
Tonight was the night, it was the last night they would be separated, they could go home, back to the world they knew, the world they loved. Although Paris missed their home in Arlesia they had grown accustomed to some of the Terran ways not to mention some of the friendships they had formed. But as always Paris knew not to get too attached to anything and for the most part, the people of Tera, the people they slept with, the people who Paris had befriended were just filling the purpose of the missing hole that had been left inside of them not being able to be with those that they cared for.
Sweaty palms, that was the first sign, Paris had no idea why they were so nervous but the thought of seeing Reign again brought it on. Paris hadn’t seen him since the night of remembrance day, the occasional visit from Heda carrying a note kept Paris informed that Reign was still alive and surviving and that was some comfort at least.
Although the anticipation of the meeting was bubbling up inside of Paris as they walked through the Bloodwood to meet him for the final time before they would be headed home, they wished that it were under better circumstances. Paris could feel their age catching up with them, Reign was still so young only twenty-seven as if he would want them let alone even look in their direction once the hair would go grey and the signs of their one-hundred and twenty-seven year life caught up with them. Paris couldn’t live without the water if it meant living without him.
Hearing their name escaping those lips sent electricity through Paris’ veins, as they entered the small clearing in the woods Paris caught the canteen with ease and looked down at it while Reign spoke. Reign was so thoughtful, just what Paris needed after the trek from Terra. Paris rolled their eyes at the next remark.
“Reign, you know I don’t drink well spring water for the taste, I need to keep beautiful. I mean just look at me, I’m getting old I have a wrinkle on my forehead when I smile.” they paused for a moment a look of distress spreading from their eyes to encompass their whole face.
“Just this morning I found a grey hair, a grey hair Reign. See, what’s to become of me.”

Of all of the placed that Paris could be sent to, they got the. greenhouse at least they didn’t have to hang out with the creepy goats. Paris had never liked farm animals not even on earth and especially not the goats their beady little eyes staring at them, like they wanted their blood.
So instead Paris resigned to checking all the windows in the greenhouse, looking for potential leaks or crack, mundane work, but soon there would be a greater task at hand and Paris thought themselves fairly lucky that they were sorted into a group with the target.
Paris had been watching Benny from afar for months, learning mannerisms and demeanours making sure that their first interactions would be flawless, it needed to be the time was coming and this opportunity couldn’t have presented itself at a better time.
“There doesn’t appear to be any leaks or crack’s on this side so I think it will hold.” Paris shouted into the room his voice echoing on the glass walls.

as much as he’d liked to deny his charisma and athletic build, he didn’t. in fact it was an aspect of himself which he trained at least three times a week, sometimes four. he liked to think people preferred his company for his personality but he also knew how much of an asshole he was so that was unlikely for sure.
he knew that paris wouldn’t do anything of the sort to anyone but he couldn’t help but tease them. something about watching others’ get so flustered, or defensive even, amused finley. a signature smirk pulled at the corners of fin’s lips as he drained the liquid from his glass, ears pricking up as paris responded to his accusation.
unable to control the low chuckle which aired, he swung around on the stool to face the other. “ and why’s that? “ he asked, elbow perched on the bar as his chin rested in his hand. free hand lounging in his lap as he waited to be enlightened.
The way the Fin chuckled made butterflies inside Paris’ stomach. No butterflies were not the word for it, it was more than that it was like the butterflies were on fire, blazing inside of them with desire. They were more like fireflies Paris supposed.
“Well for two simple reasons.” Paris smirked.
“Number one being I’m pretty sure neither of us want to go home alone tonight.” looking around the room Paris saw that there was not really anyone nearly as enticing as Fin around.
“And number two I mean just look at me, how could you not want this.” Paris had always had an heir of confidence about themselves, they knew they looked good and were not afraid to say so.

Rory didn’t know if he was supposed to be drinking or flirting with the locals, but his sentinel escort didn’t seem interested enough to care. He’d been sober (if you didn’t count Benny’s special cookies) for the entirety of his stay in Tera, and nothing sounded better than distracting himself from the grim reality of his situation.
“Sure, an old fashioned.” What did it matter if he got in ‘trouble’ for it? He was already a prisoner with no release date. “Not gonna lie, I’ve missed this place.” He gestured to their surroundings. “The boss still keeping the good stuff in his office?”
How did Paris not remember this face, especially if he used to work here. Paris always thought that they had a good memory and now they were not so sure.
“You used to work here?” Paris asked quizzically.
How else was the outlander to know that the best stuff was kept in the office. The current bartender arrived with Paris’ new drink and with a wave of their hand and an utterance of “Old Fashioned, add it to my tab.” the bartender was sent away scurrying to retrieve the new order.
Paris smirked before looking over at their new companion. “I’m kind of a God around here.”

she’s sure the ever - changing weather of abellio was beginning to stir up a bit of a sickness in her. dani isn’t feeling very well & she can’t tell if it’s because of the sunburn that’s left patches of red scattered across her body or because of the lack of heat at night when her so - called boyfriend uses all the blankets for himself. “ oh, no. i’m good, thanks. ” the sight of food makes her stomach churn, but she still flashes a smile. the shade she’d found was at least enough to keep her cool until the sun fell. “ this heat sucks. if it gets any worse, we’ll all end up as small piles of ashes. ” at least tera could provide amenities that helped soothe the sudden change in temperatures, but that didn’t mean all of their problems were fixed.
Paris sat beside Dani still holding the two plates of food and placed the down in front of them. They had noticed Dani sitting alone and wanted to do something nice for their best friend, a way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach right? Paris thought. Well unless you were from the south then that would be well water but as soon as it crossed their mind they pushed it out, Paris had shared the last of what they had with Reign before everything went to shit, and thinking about it wouldn’t make not having it any easier.
“Well I can’t eat all of this by myself.” they said.
Paris was unsure what to get, so they had just gotten one of everything each so the plates where piled quite high.

Rory nodded in acknowledgement, remembering what it felt like to be bored by movies and television back when it had been readily available to him. It had been years now since that had been the case, though.
He looked up when the other spoke again, a smile tugging at the corners of Rory’s mouth. He could use an ally inside the city, and aside from that he was desperate for conversation beyond what the average sentinel seemed capable of providing. “You mean my biopic hasn’t hit the screens here yet? You guys are missing out.”
Paris smirked at his neighbours response. They downed the rest of their cocktail and spun around to face their new drinking companion.
“Can I get you anything?” Paris eyed him up and down before adding “hot-stuff.” to the rest of their sentence.
He was conventionally cute, tanned skin, big muscles, but he didn’t look like he belonged in Tera and then it hit them he was from the outlands.

Rory had convinced one of the sentinels to take him out, and while it was odd wandering around the city that was holding them prisoner it was also a relief to be outside of the barracks for more than a few minutes at a time. They found themselves at Pandemic, Rory settling in to watch the movie that was playing on the hologram while his escort was busy flirting with a bartender. For a moment, Rory could almost pretend that he wasn’t being held prisoner, maybe that he’d never even left Tera in the first place.
“Can’t believe how much I missed watching TV.” He offered to his neighbor at the bar. “You seen this one before?” He asked, gesturing to the hologram.
Paris’ shift didn’t start for another hour so for a change they were sitting on the opposite side of the bar drinking a fancy blue cocktail, nothing like taking the edge of a little before work after all they were used to lavish life. Paris missed home, and Reign even more. They were so lost in thought that they hadn’t noticed the sentinel and the newcomer arrive until he spoke.
“Oh honey, I have seen them all before. I work here. Not that entertaining if you ask me.” Paris replied finally looking over to their neighbour.
“You however are entirely something else.” Paris smirked taking another sip of the cocktail.

with the result of remembrance day earlier in the week, finley expected the black to draw a bigger audience. most were in the mood to drown their sorrows and somber whereas others were toasting to the lives lost in a twisted-kind of celebration. for finley, work was bedlam. both him and lilith had the council down their necks, neither of them able to spend much time outside the office. tearing apart two grown men was the last thing finley wanted to be doing with his spare time but he also knew he wouldn’t be able to enjoy it with the constant battle of egos ringing in his ears. no one else seemed to be jumping at the thought of preventing further damages and injuries though.
“ t’anks, t’anks a lot. “ he replied, a hint of sarcasm entangling with his irish accent. the louder the pair got, the more frustrated finley became and eventually he pushed one man into a booth with a look of warning. his free hand slamming the base of a glass of water against the tabletop in front of him. “ drink it. “ he instructed, the other party nattering away in his ear. “ you. fuck off, will ya? “ he hissed, head nodding in the direction of a booth filled with the man’s acquaintances.
satisfied that the two men were somewhat calm and distant from one another, finley rolled his sleeves up then smoothed the front of his shirt out before adjusting his belt. relieved that he hadn’t needed to apply much force, or roll around to restrain one of the men. after all, this was one of his favourite shirts.
strolling back towards where paris was sitting, finley seated himself next to them with a groan. part of him forgetting about the bruises which covered his back which he endured during the battle. returning to his drink, he propped an eyebrow up. “ hope you haven’t put anything in this while i was sorting dumb and dumber out. “ he teased, knocking the liquid back without further hesitation.
Paris sipped their drink, watching as the tall muscular extremely attractive man broke up the argument there was something about how he pushed the man into the booth that made Paris wish it had been them. There was also something about fin’s accent that made Paris weak at the knees, that thick Irish accent and the way the work ‘fuck’ sounded coming from his lips was almost too much to bare. Paris smirked and took another sip finishing their drink before signally for another.
Relaxing back into the seat with a small smile as Fin sat by their side, the next question catching them a little of guard. As good looking as he was and as much as Paris wanted fin to themselves it was never something that Paris would have considered, besides they didn’t need the aid of a little something extra, Paris’ charm was more than capable of achieving their goals.
“Trust me handsome, that won’t be necessary.”
The feeling Fin gave Paris was hard to describe, not to mention the effect that the alcohol was having on their system. With Reign back in the outlands Paris was craving his touch and now that was impossible, well at least until they got to go back home. Right now Paris was looking for a distraction, and right now Fin was the object of their attention.

marin was a bit of a recluse. it wasn’t necessarily by personal choice so much as it was caused by her incessant need to dive head - first into any and all work she did. she was a bit anti - social, yes, so this interaction was something she hadn’t much anticipated. she can’t remember the last time she’d went anywhere with anyone.
there’s a halt in her steps, body turning as the reports in her hand were soon tucked close against her chest as she crossed her arms. “ and what’s the catch ? ”
Paris smirked, obviously having caught Marin off guard. They had noticed over their time here in Terra that she didn’t go out much, which meant that maybe the attention they gave her might work favourably, that and she was rather easy on the eyes, and they could never say no to a pretty face. Paris grinned mischievously, another possible mark on their list.
“Well you would have the the honour of having a drink with the best dressed Terran.” they smirked again.
“Beside’s you look a little over worked, I bet you could do with break.”

“ make it quick, please. ” eyes don’t stray from the reports in her hands as she made her way out of her office & out of the building. the security breach was one of her worst nightmares, a truly dreadful situation that occurred while the system was under her partial command. since the breach, marin had barely slept ––– that much was clear from the obvious bags beneath her eyes. she had returned every ounce of focus back to her job as she tried to fix the heart murmur that had shone through tera just a little over a day ago. attention is torn from the reports, one hand lifting to close the folder as she pulled herself to a stop to face the other. “ do you need something ? ”
Paris glided over to Marin, full of whimsical energy. The plan was to charm Marin into getting drinks and then use some of Paris’ dazzling charm to get some intel on what went down after all they had a job to do. They were not slumming it here in Tera for nothing, as Reign was stuck on the outside it meant that Paris was the only one who could contract the information they needed.
“I was just wondering if you wanted to get a drink, you know later after you finish your busy work?”

halfway through an intense game of poker, finley’s palms were increasingly sweaty and he was sure his opponent was cheating. after all, he could sense dodgyness from a mile off, thanks to his father. a glass of straight whiskey in hand, he knocked it back without a second-thought. no grimace presenting across his features as the liquid slid down his throat. he wasn’t a sore loser, he had superb sportsmanship but this game was beginning to fall into a line of tricks. tricks he couldn’t be asked for.
poker was a painstakingly slow game, both players had to immerse themselves in full concentration or risk losing mounds of money. angered by the other, his opposite became distracted by a disgruntled observer who was ten pints down and wobbling around wrecking the joint. tapping his fingers impatiently against the surface of the poker table, he soon stood and clarified that their game was over.
pushing himself from the bench, he swivelled to join another crowd of onlookers. but it wasn’t long before his attention was soon drawn back to the previous player and the drunk when a burst of rage filled the room, both shouting at one another and causing others in the vicinity to jump. “ whoa, dude. you need to chill. “ he grasped the shoulder of his previous opponent. gaze shifting to another observer to symbolise he needed some kind of help in settling the pair of banshees.
Paris was just here to have a good time, after the events of the last few days Paris needed to drown their sorrows. Paris used the last of the stuff, they gave half of it to Reign, the name lingered in their mind. “Damn reign and his stupid eyes.” Paris muttered under their breath. They were supposed to be home right now where the liquid wasn’t an issue and now Paris was out too, Reign owed them for this big time.
Somehow the night had brought Paris to the black, one of the lesser known, only the brave or stupid enter these locations place in terra but Paris was feeling kind of reckless and the black seemed to be all the rage, at least tonight anyway.Their attention had been held by a tall rather handsome gentlemen playing poker, Paris had never really understood poker but those looks that was something they could work with. A smirk spread across their face as very vivd images crossed their mind.
Paris was pulled from their thoughts as the one they had been eyeing stood up and left the table and then came booming sound of slurred speech from the other player at the table. Oh goody a fight, just what Paris needed the perfect distraction there was nothing like too men rolling around on the floor in a fit of passion. Although it wasn’t quite the passion Paris had planned for it would for now.
They noticed suddenly the the handsome ones eyes were on his, it almost appeared as if he was asking for help.
“Don’t look at me handsome, I’m not ruining this outfit.” Paris responded taking another sip from their drink.
