I was so sure, I’ve already posted this video, but it seems like I haven’t yet. So now it’s the time for this masterpiece. I just love the video. The idea with the dark night riding, the camera perspectives and the music. A perfect composition.

In this video we have no snow, no icy temperatures, no gloves or anything. In this video is only sand, summer and two freestyle skiers, which try their tricks in the dunes of Peru. And they do it really, really good and a lot like in the snow. The main difference to see is the strong leaning back while riding down the dunes.
Skiing or snowboarding in cities is always a special thing for me. This video shows it in a very beautiful and special way with exactly the right duration. Some riding, some jumping, a little bit of a story around. The only negative point for me is that the rider isn’t wearing a helmet.
Aksel Lund Svindal is probably one of the best ski racer at the moment. A few years ago he also found a new passion in going freeriding on the big mountains. In this little documentation from Red Bull he tells a bit of his story and the difficulties he had to face with learning this other kind of skiing.
Although this is really none of this cool ski videos, I see it as a quite important one. In the 25-minute-long documentation you will recognize how important it is to always wear a helmet, while doing your outdoor sport. Whether it’s on skis, on a snowboard or on the bike. The head is the most important part of the body and it should be protected in this way.
This video indeed seems unrealistic. Jesper Tjäder is doing so many cool things on the different obstacles, you hadn't thought that they're possible.
Yes, it’s an image video, but I think HEAD made a remarkable one, which is really bringing live into their claim “What’s your limit?”
This is not a usual freestyle film in a park. Instead they chase down the hill on their skis with a lot of different natural obstacles on their way. Especially the color grading is fascinating.
This video is already two years old, but I watched it quite often. It has such a wonderful storytelling, nice camera positions and gives a really good perspective on the speed in downhill ski racing.
When I viewed this video for the first time, I was stunned and really impressed. The emotions, the narrative, the filming technique. Everything matches so perfectly.
