caught at w1nners

While doing a quick l1ft at w1nners, I got greedy and sloppy and got caught by a plainclothes LP.

I already had two perfumes but went back for one more, I unlocked a security box with my magnet with a Cologne inside but she saw and called me out.

She was "nice" about it. Just said return the stuff but then asked to see if I had more in my bag. I just said I didn't have anymore.

Note that I am deep in the store, pretty much need to walk from one end to the other to get to the exit.

I just started walking and she followed slowly and just kept saying "excuse me, excuse me, your now trespassed for 5 years at this store."

Lol I literally kept walking to the exit, didn't run, and gave her no attention. It's no hands policy.

I was sloppy and I'm should have known she was a plainclothed lp. She was slowly walking around the store, didn't look like she was shopping, just texting and looking at people.

However, She didn't have a ear piece, so that lowered my guard. Oh well, nothing bad really came out of it and I still got product.

Also, this was a stand alone store and not within a mall. Might have been different outcome.

Not really going to stop me from l1fting. Deep down I didn't feel worried. Also I wore hat, sun glasses. But my tattoos were exposed, I may just stay away from that store for a while or go only in the mornings.

It also helped that I was helping a older lady inside h0me$ense, and walked out with her pushing both our carts like we were a family lol.

Doggy is healing fine from surgery, cost me an arm but I would do anything for him.

Recently just bought a house as well, but luckily I never spend a dollar on material things... except furniture, i was able to 🧬 my mattress years ago COVID times from w4yfair, wonder how things are now...

Been into fragrances lately and also want to make sure my girl gets whatever she needed.

I noticed rich area w1nners been packing heat and putting some expensive stock right on display.

All items were enclosed in anti theft boxes, aka a1pha security box, these can be unlocked with an a1pha key, the same to unlock spider wraps.

When using, there is a latch that slides left or right, indicating unlock or to lock. There are some boxes that look like it has a button but it will still slide, it took my a while to figure it out because I legit though it was a button you press to open.

I don't have the same a1pha key as the video below, just one from Amazon but it's the same process.

H0me$ense was super busy, walked out with the knife set, blended in with a random family leaving

Perfume was concealed in my tote bag (pretty sure random shopper saw me but minded his business)

Smaller things are concealed under arm/inner pockets from light loose jacket (warm weather)

Browsed each store for around 10-15 minutes (I don't like being in the store longer than that), any detagging and concealing is done when only I'm ready to leave the store.

just got my alpha k3y for sp1dertags and it works almost to good. Got recommended one from Amazon from one of you lovely l1fters .

Did a quick test today today's haul lol.

Every so often I search up l0ss prevention jobs in my city or specific stores I 🏋️‍♂️ often.

Example, tj1max has two new job postings for LP and LP detective this week for a Marsha11s I like to go to.

I also saw a lp posting for a wa1mart I felt lacking in security.

at times they won't post the address of the store but it will include the postal/zip code in the job title that you can map search and find the store in the area.

Now it could mean they had staff leave and theyre back filling for the position, but could also indicate increase in loss prevention staff, specially if the area is prone to more theft activity. (The store I mention is one of them)

I also want to note that LPs that work with companies like tj1max can go to other stores in the same city. I saw a plainclothes LP that made an arrest in a winners, next week I saw the same LP in a marshalls on the other side of my city.

As much as a LP is looking for us l1fters, they also have quotas for internal investigations. They watch the store staff almost equally.

Just some things I take in consideration when estimating how active a stores LP is.

Been super busy last few weeks with work and life.

No time to post hauls but this was quick sat morning. Been doing l1fts almost hour after stores open and it's quite relaxing.

But at the last store, sp0rtch3k, I l1fted a hat and took off the security tag and put it in my pocket to hide it somewhere else.

I ended up forgetting to take the tag out of my pocket, walked out of the store and dinged the alarm.

But fate blessed me as the cashier and security guard told me im good (I was also wearing the hat I li1fted out lol).

Just felt so stupid as I was in the clear but it was my mistake that could have got me caught. Pls friends don't be like me.

I now own my own security tag as a souvenir.

With winter ending, it's more flimsy lighter jackets with big internal pockets and more walk outs.

For people that like to b0rrow here, theyre quite active in communications for suspicious and known l1fters.

Stores will communicate with each other pictures and detail reoccuring l1fters especially if they are in groups, have total high values ($1K or more), or hitting up multiple stores in a day.

They often communicate with police for high total value reoccuring l1fters and will send emails throughout the country (Canada) if needed between store owners.

I do notice this is mainly for people that don't conceal and are very open in their behavior.

There isn't much, or barely any communication for single l1fters that conceal well.

Obviously the high th3ft areas are their makeup/skin care/perfume for front store. But since theyre mainly a pharmacy, security and CCTV is mainly focused there as potential burglaries and stand ups for narcotics is targeted.

Staff use the term "code-5" for suspicious person/activity. Pharmacists and techs will come to the aisle to support front store to help deter theft. It's no touch policy but they will talk to you.

I don't b0rrow there as I know people who work there. But I would target cologne.

Has anyone had any success with removing sp1der wrap security tags with just a ne0 dymium magnets?

Everytime I try and push the side button, it just stays locked. Perhaps my 🧲 isn't strong enough or if these actually require only alpha keys.

Man... I thought I was decent at l1fting but when I read posts during prime l1ftblr pre 2020, y'all sisters were on a other level.

these peeps would be able to b0rrow half the store with a paper clip, black tights, and a gum wrapper.

Was at Un1qlo at my local mall and two younger individuals got caught and detained by the mall security for li1ting.

All because of a random shopper being a karen, yelling and chasing these kids, even out of the store. She wasn't even LP or plain clothes. Just a random lady who had time that day.

She looked so smug and happy, I was fuming. I think the kids took maybe a pair of $20 sunglasses.

If I wasn't with my girlfriend, I would have slipped a bunch of un1qlo RFID price tags into her bags just so she could set off the alarm.

I guess you never know who will decide to play donkey hero when your out there l1fters. Stay aware!

Fun haul while visiting my parents across town.

Gunna lay low from b3stbuy for a bit but so happy I found some Olights. Quick tip, check near the cashier isles as they may put some unlocked valuable tech there for quick sales while people wait in line.

If anyone is familiar with benchmade, these kn1ves retail for around $200-400. Decent dupes on dhgate can be around $20-30.

At Cab3llas these kn1ves are behind a glass table and require an attendee to open and show them to you. They let you demo them if you ask.

I'll keep a dupe of one of the kn1ves hidden in my pants pocket and ask to see several pocket knives at once including the real one that is based of the dupe, and have a small chat and distract them with questions on the differences and such.

While testing the pocket clip, and with decent hand slight of hand, I'll drop the knife in my pants pocket (go with cargo pants) and swap it with the dupe. Chat a bit, then thank them and leave. Their usually putting all the knives back without inspecting them. (Decent fakes will require the real one side by side to tell the difference)

Of course it's going to vary by store but I usually aim for senior aged attendants, when the store is quite busy, and Im also very familiar with the store layout.

I don't recommend this if you aren't able to have a casual conversations, do sleight of hand, and keep eye contact/awareness all at once.

But that's how I built a decent collection of real benchmade pocket kn1ves (total value ~$1500). The funny part is after a while, I go back to the store and see the fake kn1ves on display still.
