February 23rd, 2026. Monday. || Feeling comfortable at home again
So much work done today! Feels amazing. My space is finally getting to a state where it feels great to exist here. So much less stuff on the floor... so much more floorspace... lots less unnecessary crap.
I still have 2 full paper grocery bags of "figure out what to do with" stuff, but I'm hoping to get to them tomorrow.
The great focus on schoolwork will be here in the next few days! I finally feel like I have the brainspace for it again!
What I accomplished:
Wrote 1 Slowly letter
Called local trash company about removing old bedframe
Laundry done!
Deepcleaned the books in my room, donated about half (4 bags)
Tidied up the loose papers under my desk
Vacuumed the horrors underneath my desk
Re-organized the papers I organized yesterday to be Better
Called insurance company about COBRA benefits
Took out 2 trash bags of garbage from room
Took 2 bags of thrift store donations out of my room

Hi, friends.
I hate doing this with every fiber of my being, but we are in need of some help. Last year left us with significant medical debt that we’re struggling with, my dentist is telling me I need $2k worth of work, and this past Wednesday, my van bit the dust after ten years and 239k miles. It’s a total loss. I am so sorry to ask, but we really, really need some help. If you’d be willing to help us in any way, by donating or reblogging, I’d be eternally grateful. We just need a little bit of a break!
Thank you! 💛

nothing is as tender as annotating your favourite books. it’s like leaving a piece of your heart on the pages for somebody else to find.
Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work:you don't give up.
Humans make movements all the time. Yet some people can't make movements normally and there are some who do movements extraordinarily known as super dexterous.
I love how people try and deny evolution as if there aren't so many snakes with legs at the moment.
