Problem f/ Bad Lucc - “Twerk” (Diamond Lane, 2013) Ugh this is too vicious. Beat Boy, who previously laced Earl’s muted masterpiece “Stapleton,” teases an actual groove out of that post-hyphy DJ Mustard style minimalism before randomly turning the whole track into a ratcheted up reincarnation of “Back That Azz Up.” Oh and he also brings back those old Young Bleed wheezes that Problem had already jacked more directly on “Like Whutt.” If this shit isn’t all over West Coast radio in 30 days or less then they should just cancel Summer. Video is NSFW, naturally.
