Top 6 Syaoran moments
you always ask such good questions ;asdlkjfa;sdj
6. The class field trip where they go skiing in the mountains - particularly when Syaoran notices that Sakura is afraid of ghost stories and cuts the stories short, and in the middle of the night Sakura comes down and catches him in the middle of a reverie about how much he likes Sakura, haha. I love Syaoran’s quiet consideration for Sakura, and her teasing him for always saying ‘it’s nothing’, and Syaoran appreciating Sakura appreciating the snow. ;A;
5. The Sword Card transformation - not a chapter/episode that gets a lot of attention, but Eriol uses enchanted thread to make Syaoran into a marionette, forcing him to attack Sakura. Syaoran uses a water spell to reveal the trick. It’s a nice moment that highlights how Syaoran is often able to be levelheaded and take decisive, useful action even in distress.
4. the Erase Card capture (manga version) - Syaoran uses fire magic to light their candles and wind magic to let them walk on water to the Card’s hiding place. Syaoran talking about Clow’s diaries and shouting advice at Sakura. Syaoran is just so freaking competent and Sakura appreciates him. And him refusing the Card is really important b/c it shows that he’s accepted that Sakura is the Card Captor
3. IT’S DEFINITELY A PEN CASE. ANY MORON COULD SEE IT’S A PEN CASE - Sakura gives Syaoran a White Day present. Upon initial viewing, Syaoran says thank you for the chopsticks case. when he’s corrected, he announces that it’s OBVIOUSLY A PEN CASE, how could anyone think differently!?! Precious flustered child.
2. Tomoyo confronting Syaoran about his crush on Sakura - speaking of flustered children, in the manga Tomoyo decides to confront Syaoran about his crush on Sakura by showing him ‘accidentally’ recorded footage of himself frantically trying to rescue Sakura from the pit Eriol trapped her in during the previous chapter. Basically Syaoran having heart attacks for dAYS. It’s my favorite manga chapter because apparently, I enjoy Syaoran best when he’s suffering.
1. End of CCS movie 2 - ‘I will fall in love with you all over again.’ GOODBYE. How dare you sir, nobody is allowed to be that romantic, especially at the age of eleven.

May 9th is the day of the confession. It’s already past, though.
Here’s a small translation of this tweet that Takano Ichigo posted yesterday. Enjoy!
