Okay, I like the "Linda is supremely, oppressively normal and makes Joey feel like a freak" idea, but you know what would be better? How Different Outlast Characters Would Say the Word Bussin (kinda shit post)

Miles Upshur: Probably just bussin. He’d be a little confused about the meaning of the word at first but he’d pick it up quickly. Might actually overuse it.

Waylon Park: Mans would 100% say busting. And he’d get laughed at for it. He also does the sprinkler at parties but that’s for another conversation.

Richard Trager: He is old and does not get it but tries to be hip and just sounds stupid. Gets called a boomer and leaves.

Jeremy Blaire. Does not say it. Refuses to say it. Absolutely not. Secretly googles what it means later though.

Eddie Gluskin: BUSTING! (i think y’all know how to read this)

i hope whoever sees this sleep deprived tipsy shitpost is concerned and or adds to it. i need to get this off my chest and now i think is a good time. If you want more information on Waylon doing the sprinkler i have an entire list of ways i think the outlast characters would dance at parties. ;)

New batim headcanon:

Sammy has very neat, cursive and recognisable handwriting. He likes to leave little notes around the studio, usually on the desks/workspace of musicians in the orchestra, dubbed “Lawrence Letters” by the other employees.

These aggressive letters typically contain degrading insults, jarring comparisons and backhanded “tips” for instrumental improvement. There’s a small board in the break room nicknamed “Sammy’s Wall of Shame”, where you can pin your special letter up to show off to your coworkers.

“Your cello playing yesterday was so poor, I considered skinning a cat in your place for better sound.”

“Writing to inform you that your spot in the orchestra will now be replaced by my grandmother. It’ll be a fair bit of work to dig her up, but at least the piano won’t sound so dreadful.”

Always signed, with a heart.

Additionally:

Wally tries his hardest while cleaning up to find unopened letters and throw them out before the recipient stumbles upon it, to avoid the note upsetting them.
