it turns out i haven’t been here since august and i kind of doubt i will be again, but here’s a life update for the extension of my past self: thesis is actual hell.
it turns out that writing just a paragraph of your thesis takes a very long time.
when you’re reading a wikipedia article about a book on feminism and then there’s just a lovely bit of misogyny at the end of the page? and hilary clinton, the ‘grand witch’.
I edited it out, how’s that for internet activism on a thursday morning.

“Unhurt” A3. Acrylic on paper, pencils, ink, awl, screwdriver.
I downloaded a free book from google books for my essay, and it’s from the 1800s so it’s just a scan of the book itself, and the first few pages of the document include scans of the person’s fingers? Just someone’s fingers smudged and scanned as they’re holding the page down. It’s very creepy (thankyou for this middle of the day fright, google).
This steadily growing stack of honours reading is threatening to suffocate me and honestly I welcome it.
All spaghetti comes from cuts of the same original spaghetti strand. The original strand grows at about 2ft per week and is kept safe in the Vatican’s main vault.
I’ve been out shopping a couple of times now trying to find shoes to wear to my brothers wedding, and there’s nothing nice, and then this morning I remember that I bought a pair of boots years ago that might work. They’ve been sitting in the bottom of my wardrobe, still in the box, the receipt says I got them in 2013? and I somehow completely forgot about them?
what kind of a name is this.
uni on a Saturday, nice aesthetic, otherwise??
I have too many things to do for honours and the healing powers of writing a list are not working.
