Abortion Rides
Last week I received a message from an anon who was sexually assaulted, pregnant, and needed an abortion, but had no ride. She lived in the area so, I decided to bring her myself. Her grandmother was very grateful that I was able to help and said she wished there were more people like me out there. And there are. After starting a post, a bunch of people began offering their services so I decided to make abortion rides a thing.
This is a list of individuals who may be able to bring you to where you are going to have an abortion. Please keep in mind that people do have other responsibilities and that you need to coordinate with them. They may or may not ask for gas money. It’s not a definite yes you will have a ride, they’re just willing to try and help. If you want to be added to the list, email me at [email protected] with your name, URL, and the location you can provide your help to (please make abortion rides the subject).
This post will continue to be updated!

Watch: This is exactly how it should be — especially her response to the guy she she slept with (Matt McGorry).
I’m crying I love this so much
Dolores del Río, a.k.a. María de los Dolores Asúnsolo López-Negrete, August 3, 1905 - April 11, 1983
Badassness: Dolores was born in Durango, Mexico, but grew up in Mexico City after her family lost everything during the Mexican Revolution. Her skill as a dancer caught the attention of a film director, who encouraged Dolores and her first husband to move to Hollywood. Dolores quickly achieved fame in Hollywood silent movies, but was also able to make the transition to talkies easily. Her Hollywood career dried up when she refused to act in a film that she felt was anti-Mexican and lost her Warner Brothers contract. Dolores then moved back to Mexico because she “wanted to go the way of the art.” This was a good decision for her career, as she flourished in Mexican cinema, starring in films like María Candelaria and La Cucaracha. She later transitioned to theater and Broadway, and did eventually return to Hollywood, appearing in many roles, including as Elvis Presley’s mother in Flaming Star.
Dolores’ famed beauty inspired Mexican artists such as Diego Rivera, Roberto Montenegro, and composer Concha Michel. Dolores was also a philanthropist, and worked to protect and promote Mexican culture and arts. She founded Rosa Mexicano, a Mexican union focused on protecting the interests of women artists and their children. Dolores continued to be revered after her death, particularly in Mexican film and art circles, and is viewed as one of the greats of both the golden eras of Hollywood and Mexican cinema.
Bisexuality: Dolores has been romantically linked to many of the great actresses of her time, including Josephine Baker, Anna Mae Wong, Greta Garbo, and Marlene Dietritch. Marlene and Dolores are pictured together above, dressed as a bride and groom. Many of these women were part of the Hollywood “sewing circles,” which were parties in the 20s and 30s hosted by famous women who loved other women. The sewing circles allowed these women to meet each other in the privacy of their own homes at a time when censors and societal pressures were cracking down on same-gender relationships. Dolores also married three men and had a four-year relationship with Orson Welles around the time he was filming Citizen Kane.
Dolores seemed to inspire adoration - Welles called her the great love of his life, and several other men were infatuated with Dolores over the years, including the director who had discovered her, Edwin Carewe, and Mexican director Emilio Fernández. Marlene Dietrich, her long-term lover, called her “the most beautiful woman who ever set foot in Hollywood.”

These are all fresh new, horror stories that haven’t been posted on my blog.

Nicki Minaj VMA performance
NAHHHHH FUCK IT UPPPP
✨ THE GODDESS ✨
Do any of you girls know how someone would pay taxes/file them if they are self employed as a phone sex worker?
It’s all fine and good to support nicki and reblog stylized versions of the phrase “what’s good, miley,” but let’s not make a joke of nicki. She stood up for herself, she stood up for black women, and she does not need to be ridiculed. You may think you’re being funny when you say you will “go nicki minaj” on someone, but you are actually perpetuating the angry black woman stereotype through using nicki minaj’s reaction to miley’s ignorance as a display of anger rather than what it was, a rejection of a piss poor performer who uses racial injustice to advance her career, and by extension, a rejection of the system which keeps miley in a position of prominence.

Hey everyone! I was asked to design and sew a custom Itty Bitty for Hallmark, and my design is now up for vote! I would really, really appreciate your support. The Itty Bitty with the most votes will be put into production and sold, which is a huge dream of mine.
It’s important to me that every kid who walks into a toy store is able to find something that is representative of/relatable to them, and this is my small effort into making that a reality.
You can vote once a day for one design per device (phone, tablet, computer, etc) which is a really, really difficult choice, (I love so many of them!) for the next 16 days, and I would love your support to make my mermaid dreams come true.
There are no bonuses or incentives for winning except that little kids (and big kids) all over the country would be able to have something I made.
Photo credits go to the lovely people at think.make.share.
Any kind of signal boost would also be really lovely of you! <3
Thank you!
PLEASE VOTE for Han’s amazing little mermaid! Not only is she SUPER DUPER CUTE, but diversity really matters - something I personally find really important in children’s toys and media!!
You can vote EVERYDAY!
Nothing is required to vote. Just go to the site and click to support this awesome toy.
