OVERARCHING THEMES : being a “ human weapon ” , being the hero you didn’t have, coming back from the dead, and being an expert in giving a good bruising.

TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR CANON TYPICAL VIOLENCE, SEXUAL THEMES (and unfortunately sexual violence as well) , POSSIBLE REFERENCES TO DRUGS, YOUR DISCRETION IS ADVISED. while not always going to have these themes, it is important to note. Elektra’s got a fucked up life, fortunately for me. unfortunately for her.

ships are welcomed, but I personally just don’t focus on that aspect of writing. If our characters have chemistry and I like the idea of them, then we could totally ship. but Elektra is "not good at relationships" so it’s not going to be what you expect.

"A rabbit who learned to stand upright. Curious. Does the Magician pull your strings for you?"

"What? N-no, I-"

The little rabbit shook her head firmly, eyes cast toward the ground in a moment of sudden self-consciousness. Questions like this were most certainly not her favourite.

"I'm a living being, th-thank you very much.. Not some puppet. Mistress hates pupp-"

Her sentence was stopped short by the realisation she may have given away something rather important. Whoever had thought rabbits were a symbol of luck had definitely not met Sellen.

The assassin leaned in, eyes zoning in on the pair that would not make contact with her own. Narrowing, studying her further. Those same eyes flicked down to the rabbit’s body. A subtle tilt of her head, and Elektra pulled back.

"You must speak with more caution." Arms crossing over her chest, in much contrast to the rabbit.

A feeling that wasn’t unusual to her — but was not welcomed often — washing over, and softening her features. "Careful, little bunny. I’m sure your mistress doesn’t want you spilling those things to strangers."

"Speak carefully, magician. If not, you’ll be saying ‘mercy’ the right way around."

"Is that so?"

The magician sported an easy smile, blue eyes glinting with a quiet sort of mischief. It had been a while since she had been challenged like this - it was almost exciting.

"Then allow me to slow things down for you: What, exactly, are you doing here?"

"I’m here for one thing, and one thing alone."

The thrill of the hunt, the chase, and finally.. what Elektra had assumed to be the finale. She’s gone up against many magic users, this should’ve been simple. Her eyebrows remained furrowed, the corners of her lips struck with a downturned scowl.

"The price on your head."

"Death leaves an everlasting imprint. Your stance, it favors the right side of your body. You carry a tension within you."

"And by pointing this out, you aim to..?"

He stares. Hard. Crossing his arms over his chest while lifting a brow in defiance. If this stranger could pay such delicate attention to detail like that, he may have his work cut out for him.

"Good to know something wants to hold onto me, I guess."

Her answer was simple, and still it spoke louder than anything else would’ve. First meetings weren’t Elektra’s thing, really, usually when she meets someone for the first time.. that someone ends up in a body bag. Yet, there was something much different about this one.

The assassin was listening, always listening, but she just didn’t comment on what he had said. Keeping a mental note of it, for later.

"If I wanted an advantage in this war, you would already be compensating for it."
