“Understand Why They Hate You: A Pluto Placement Guide”
☠️ Your power was never meant to be palatable. ☠️
Pluto in your chart is where your mere existence becomes a trigger. It’s where people project, resent, desire, and fear you without ever fully understanding why. It’s the frequency you emit that says “I can destroy you without lifting a finger.” But it also reveals why they hate you — why they’re obsessed, repulsed, haunted, or entranced.
🌑 Pluto-Sun: They hate that you don’t need approval to shine.
You carry authority in your bones. Even when you’re silent, your presence demands attention. People feel dominated by your willpower, even when you’re not trying. You’re a mirror for their weakness — and they’d rather break the mirror than face themselves.
“Who gave you permission to be this powerful?”
Well you did. And that terrifies them.
🌑 Pluto-Moon: They hate how deeply you see them.
Your emotional x-ray vision is uncomfortable. You notice micro-expressions, hidden wounds, manipulations. People feel exposed around you, like you can undress their soul and dissect it with a glance. You feel like a threat to their emotional control.
You don’t just understand feelings — you unearth them.
Most people aren’t ready for that kind of intimacy.
🌑 Pluto-Mercury: They hate that your words wound and awaken.
Your voice has bite. Your ideas challenge systems, your questions undress egos. You speak in riddles that echo. People are afraid of what you might say, what you know, or what you could expose. Your mind disarms, dissects, destroys.
They label you “too intense,” when really, you just speak in surgical precision.
🌑 Pluto-Venus: They hate that they want you so badly.
You seduce without trying. They project every kink, shame, obsession onto you. You’re the fantasy and the threat. Love isn’t safe with you — it’s transformative, dangerous, and devouring. They love you, but they’ll crucify you for making them feel that much.
They think you’re toxic — but really, you’re just real.
And that kind of love burns.
🌑 Pluto-Mars: They hate that you can dominate them sexually or energetically.
You walk into a room and the power shifts. You ignite primal reactions. People feel challenged, emasculated, or hypnotized. You don’t fight fair — you fight to transform. You’re not violent, but your energy is confrontational.
They want to possess you or destroy you. Either way, they’ll never forget you.
🌑 Pluto-Jupiter: They hate your unstoppable evolution.
Your growth threatens people. Your ability to rise from the ashes, to alchemize pain into power — it makes them feel small. You have an aura of destiny. People either want to follow you or sabotage you. You can’t be controlled, and that enrages the ones who try.
You don’t expand quietly. You expand like a supernova.
🌑 Pluto-Saturn: They hate your unshakeable power.
Your authority is intimidating. You seem incorruptible, forged through pain, patient with power. You own your darkness. People hate how composed you are, how little they can rattle you. They’ll test you, but they’ll lose.
You’re not intimidating. They’re just not used to someone who isn’t afraid of death.
🌑 Pluto-Uranus: They hate your ability to rebel without flinching.
You’re radical. You question everything. You don’t play nice with systems that oppress. People fear the change you represent. You’re the revolution wrapped in human skin. And they hate that you’re often right.
You weren’t born to fit in. You were born to dismantle the matrix.
🌑 Pluto-Neptune: They hate that you dissolve illusions they cling to.
You’re spiritually dangerous. You intuit people’s souls. You reflect their delusions back to them — and they call it “projection.” They might call you a manipulator, but in truth, they’re just afraid of their own unconscious.
You hold up the mirror of the collective psyche.
And not everyone likes what they see.
Pluto is where you’re feared, fetishized, scapegoated, worshipped, and never quite understood.
It’s not meant to be soft. It’s meant to be sacred.
Own it.
Enchanting with touch -
A lot of witchcraft seems to be focused on visualisation as a means of imbuing things with magic, energy work seems almost entirely written to suit those who can visualise images. I am extremely tactile, I am a touchy feely person with busy hands so I decided to share how I “enchant” items.
Enchantment in my book means to take an object and make it magical, whether it be a charm, a ward, an agent of the spell itself.
Kissing things - your lips are far more sensitive than your fingers, they are also very close to your nose so you can incorporate smell into this, too. Take the item, and bring it too your lips gently, place a plush firm kiss whilst focusing on planting your into into the item.
Stroking or brushing - I have heard people try knot magic by braiding their hair, my hair is too short for this, but you could start by brushing your hair. Really smoothing it out, deeply brushing hair or even fur is a great way to transfer magic from your mind to the hands to the object, brushing is very therupeutic and could almost be a trance inducing activity. When I had hair I could sit on, it was a wonderful sensory experience to hand brush it after a wash.
You could also feel the surface of your item by smoothing it with you hands, really get to know the texture, let the magic explore the grain of the wood, the crevices in the stone or the cool touch of the metal.
Crumbling something - You could do this with breadcrumbs for kitchen magic or a bath bomb for bath magic (I wouldn’t crumble a bath bomb imo but I have heard some people prefer to do that.) Guide your intent to your hands and let it over whelm the object in your palms.
Stepping on something - This could be very destructive and great for curses.
Walking around it - Walking around an object features a lot in folk lore, perhaps you could use it to slowly build up intent and magical energy within you?
Throwing or juggling - Juggling is a great skill to learn and I can well and truly say kinetic energy is magical very powerful, throwing and catching something in the air until your satisfied is a fantastic way of enchantment, the weight as you catch it in your hand and watching it fly in the air is just fantastic.
Rubbing it to give it body heat - This is very physical, you can feel the warmth you’ve transferred to this object and its very responsive as well.
Don’t be shocked when life starts to get good. You deserve that.
I will have peace in my life and I will heal.
And that’s a threat to anyone who would stand in my way.

Sneak Preview - The Ferryman’s Curse
Vassili went on further till he reached the ferry, where the old man asked: ‘Did you think of me?’
‘Yes, and as soon as you have ferried me across I will tell you what you want to know.’
When they had crossed over, Vassili said: ‘Let the next man who comes stay in the boat, but do you step on shore, push the boat off, and you will be free, and the other man must take your place.
- The Story of Three Wonderful Beggars (The Violet Fairy Book)
—–
Intent: To curse another with the problems that plague your own life.
Materials:
Two pennies
Previously-used jar candle
Fire source
Body of water
Ideal Timing: Dark of the Moon / New Moon / No Moon
Fair Warning: This is not a nice spell. This is not a polite spell. Baneful magic by its’ very definition is not meant to be pleasant, but there can be a difference between ill-wishing someone yourself and asking a figure from the realm of spirits to help you do it. The fact that you are entering into a minor pact to accomplish this goal creates an additional degree of difficulty and uncertainty. If you choose to perform this ritual, please proceed with caution.
In order to do this spell, you have to make a deal with the Ferryman, who carries souls across to the hereafter and may also haul away bad luck and strife if you pay him and ask nicely. You’ll need to work carefully and quickly to pull this off.
Before you begin, perform any protective steps you would normally take before doing spirit work or baneful magic. Make preparations to cleanse yourself and your home upon completion. If you don’t have anything in place, you might want to check out the Protections section of this book for ideas. (Golden Hood)
Obtain two pennies from the same year. Any year will do, so long as they match, but new and shiny is preferable. Carry the pennies in your pocket for one week to absorb your bad luck. Then, on a moonless night, go and stand on the shore of some body of water. For best results, I suggest a lake or a river too wide to be easily crossed without a boat.
Make a circle around yourself, large enough to stand in without being too close to the edges. You can use chalk, pebbles, stones, sticks, a line in the sand, whatever material works best for the location. You might also use a premade containment figure such as a hoop or a rope circle. Stand in the center, light the candle, and place it at your feet so that the light fills the circle. While you perform the next few steps, take care to stay within the circle of light. Do not look behind you during the ritual and do not let the candle go out. (I recommend using a jar candle which has burned down a little ways so that it is shielded from chance breezes.)
Remove one of the pennies from your pocket and hold it out before you towards the water. In a quiet clear voice, call to the Ferryman:
Ferryman, Ferryman Sail to the shore I’ve a penny to give you And soon will have more One day to sail outward One day to sail in Come back on the third day And you’ll have its twin
No soul do I offer No body to bury Only lighten my load Take this burden I carry Ferryman, help me My fortunes are poor Ferryman, Ferryman Come to the shore
Throw the penny into the water. Try to land it as far from the shore as you can. Carefully extinguish the candle and leave the area as quickly and safely as possible. Once you return home, you may want to salt your doors or refresh whatever protections you have in place, in case something has followed you home.
You then have until midnight on the third day (starting from dawn the day after you toss the coin), to somehow get someone else to take the other penny from you. It’s best to have a target in mind, preferably someone who really deserves that bad luck. If you start out thinking of a particular person, you can either hand the coin to them, slip it into their belongings, leave it inside their home, or bury it on their property. What matters is that by the time midnight on the third day rolls around, the coin is in their possession and not yours.
Your bad luck and misfortune should leave or lessen during this three-day stretch. If you successfully pass the penny to someone else, your bad luck will fall on them. If you do not manage to get rid of the coin, your bad luck will return and you’ll be right back where you started.
The only way to break the curse is for the person who has received the bad-luck penny to go to the same body of water and throw in the coin that you gave them.
It may be prudent to return to the body of water in the daylight after your bad luck has passed and toss in another penny to thank the Ferryman for his help, just in case he’s disgruntled over your trickery. It would also be prudent to never again show your face there after dark or on foggy days.
Note: This ritual should only ever be performed in the same location once. If you wish to do it again, you’ll need to find a different body of water. It would also be wise to let some time pass, at least a few months, or find other ways of dealing with your problems. Don’t tempt fate too often if you can avoid it.

Probably the most important tool in a witches arsenal is also one of the more difficult to achieve.
Knowing yourself
Where are your lines in the sand you won't cross.
On any given day opinions can change what what is your core and center.
What grounds you in you. How do you distinguish yourself from other.
So that when you are affected by "other" you dont have to ask some one else you know.

There are so many things that are TOP quality about this. The business with the mic rope. The bounding across the stage like an excited puppy or a newsie. The Voice™️ that is so synonymous with John, you know, the voice of a guy who sells ice cream at the soda fountain in the 50’s. The analogy itself.
It’s all so beautiful, such peak humor and content.

I FOUND IT AGAIN.
Here’s the “horse loose in a hospital” bit. Good news, it has closed captioning.
“I DONT REMEMBER THAT IN HAMILTON.” OMG
God I’ve heard so much about this guy and this is my first time actually watching one of his bits. He’s as funny as y’all make him out to be tbh
This is my favorite video ever
I’m going to be talking about this for the rest of my life. Because this? This is one of the defining pieces of culture from a time when life went from bad to worse. Everyone knows this sketch. Almost word for word. This four minute bit is carrying us through these times, and is probably the only piece of media to come directly from politics that is genuinely joyful.
You simply cannot talk about this era without mentioning the horse loose in a hospital. It defines the entire experience, and does it hilariously.
I fucking adore this man
i love john edmund mulaney with my whole entire heart, and you may quote me on that
i just realized that this is going to be something that people look at in like 50-100 years when talking about this era of american politics and people are going to be interpreting it and its probably going to be on someones fucking dbq like no no one outside of this time period will every ever be able to grasp just how accurately this describes Everything
THAT’S WHERE IT COMES FROM
“that’s what I thought youd say you dumb fucking horse”
HORSE IN THE HOSPITAL
OHHH SO THAT’S WHAT THAT WAS ABOUTTTT
Reblogging this in honor of the horse being sent to the hospital.
i forgot how much i loved this bit
What Native people say about the use of sage: you can use sage, but you cannot smudge as nothing you are doing (waving sage around) is actually smudging. Smudging is a ceremony and you are, we promise, not smudging. Please buy sage from either us, or someone who sources the sage from us. White sage may not be considered endangered by the US government but corperate sourcing is making it difficult for us to source sage for our own religious purposes. Let alone to sell it.
What white people hear: never use sage ever, don’t ever buy it, don’t own it, don’t even look at it.
Look, y’all. There’s a couple of facets to my talk today.
1) Yes! You can buy sage! You really, truly can! Buy it from either native sellers (go to a powwow! Eat our food, buy our stuff, watch some dancing!) Or buy it from a seller who sources the sage from native people. Pick one. And no, buying it from 5 Below doesn’t count.
2) you CANNOT smudge. This isn’t just you “shouldn’t”— this is a YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF SMUDGING. Waving a sage stick around your doorways IS NOT SMUDGING. It is smoke clensing. Smudging, depending on the tradition and tribe, could easily have dancing and drums involved. You, as a white person, do not have the cultural BACKGROUND to even know how it works. At all. Period.
3) please, for FUCKS SAKE, stop making posts here on tumblr where you tell other white people about cultural appropriation and what they can and cannot do. Please stop, your license has been revoked because none of you bother to get the facts right. We native people are FULLY CAPABLE OF DOING IT OURSELVES. Consider instead: a) reblogging our posts where we talk about it! We’re here! We have made posts!! b) Making a post that states what we said and then LINKS BACK TO US. Screenshot with a link if you must. Stop centering your own voices in these conversations. You are already centered in everything, stop centering yourselves in a native space.
I’m tired of this nonsense, y’all.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk ™

Damnatio Memoriae Curse
“Damnatio Memoriae is the Latin phrase literally meaning “condemnation of memory,” meaning that a person must not be remembered. It was a form of dishonor that could be passed by the Roman Senate on traitors or others who brought discredit to the Roman State. The intent was to erase the malefactor from history.” (x)
This is a powerful curse against abusers, and people in positions of power that have lots of influence who are terrible people. It is to make them, in essentia, a living ghost, unseen by the people around them, and losing their friends, fame, and status.
Things you’ll need:
Any paper you can trace an image onto
A pencil
An eraser
A flame-proof bowl
Clear/Black nail polish
1) Find a picture of your target and trace their picture onto the piece of paper. Be sure to do it in pencil, since you’re going to erase it later. Put all of your hatred for this person into the paper as you draw it.
2) Write their name(s), social media username(s), achievements of theirs/what theyre known for, and draw sigils of what you want to happen to them in detail on their picture. Since this curse is meant to strip one of friends, fame, and future, I’d recommend at least having sigils for those.
3) Erase their picture. This symbolizes their presence being wiped from the face of the earth, and being forgotten. Leave the sigils and achievements/information intact as a taglock.
4) Cover the paper with black or clear nail polish, black is preferred, as once more it is obscuring the target from the eyes of others, leading to them being forgotten.
5) Burn the paper, as that symbolizes their life, fame, and future going down in flames, as well as being symbolic of them never being able to rebuild or regain what they used to have, since once something is burned, you can’t unburn it. It also serves to activate the sigils you drew on the paper.
6) Flush the ashes down the toilet. Imagine their life going down the toilet with it, to fester in sewage. This can also make their health decline if you so wish.
7) Do any aftercare you deem necessary such as cleansing yourself and your space.
Thanks so much to @lostlittlestarling for helping me make this!
