Decided to do a face study. Ingo and Emmet are great for this.
And this was the start of a beautiful friendship. The galaxy team hadn't even been in Hisui for a Month. What a way for Ingo to meet Zisu though.
Who are they judging, anyone's guess, but they're very much judging.
Just felt like drawing them, Ingo and Zisu they are pretty good friends in the aspects au.
And a bonus Zisu with her goofy zoroark.

Saw this and wondered if there’d be a few Plasma Grunts who just drop working for the organization after losing to these kids over and over again. Maybe even some of them would become consistent battlers just because they found a new passion for Pokemon battles.
Well it wouldn’t be the losses alone that would push them to that. At least in my au it’s good to keep in mind that during the time period in which Ingo and Emmet had stolen the Unova train system, it was war.
Plasma wasn’t an evil team it was a governing force and the plasma “grunts” were military soldiers. They had order, discipline, training, military tactics and funding. To defect from the military was a big deal. Especially considering this was a civil/revolutionary war. There was no where for defectors to go besides hiding somewhere within the Unova region.
So to defect people usually had to have very good reasons for themselves to both risk punishment so just loosing over and over to two kids would not have been the only reasons to defect. Could have been the last straw on many compounding problems they had with serving though.
The way people saw them and how the twins behaved during those fights. Showing themselves to not be monsters. Because that's what the people who joined the plasma military thought they were fighting. Power hungry monsters that were trying to destroy the region and everyone in it. If anything the Resistane was seen more like an evil team, especially in the beginning. That is exactly how Ghetsis spun it to his own people and other regions.
Seeing Ingo and Emmet off the front lines and acting like people is something that drastically broke down the lies and propaganda people were fed, including for the military since people saw them every day. Course the rest of the resistance had several methods of taring down the veneer of King Ghetsis's lies and propaganda. Ingo and Emmet taking over the Unava train system happened in the last two years of the war. Cracks were already forming in Plasma's carefully constructed Ideals, broken down by the resistance's Truth.
For some the twins were simply the last straw.
Present day there are several ex plasma military vets that have taken a shine to battling and frequent the subway.

Another page to the Iceland Ghost has been posted! I've had a bit of down time at work that I've been able to really get at it.
Finished and posted the next page of The Iceland Ghost! we get to see more of the Diamond clan and Warden Poiyaunpe has got some things up their sleeve~
Welp I have been rereading some of my posts, the swap aspect au in particular where Emmet ends up in Hisui and I have some thoughts, specifically in the differences between Ingo and Emmet's experiences both in Hisui and in their return.
One huge difference is that one, Emmet, is understood as alive, while the other, Ingo, is perceived as being dead. For Emmet this means he has more people looking out for him, both medically and concern about what he is getting up to and if it's dangerous. Where as Ingo doesn't get any of that, he comes and goes as he pleases and even when injured unless he expressly asks for help no one thinks much of injuries, why would they when a ghost is already dead.
Emmet however gets more scrutiny for his "odd" behaviors. Where as people just shrug Ingo's oddities as being just weird old ghost things.
Now for the return as that has some of the biggest differences.
Emmet returned to the present with Rei/Lucas and was believed that they were in Hisui from the start. With that came a certain understanding that Emmet just lost everyone he ever knew. Rei and Johanna gave him the time and space he needed to actually grieve and come to terms that everyone he knew was gone. It was by no means easy but he was surrounded by people that understood he had lost so much.
Ingo on the other hand, returned alone, not only that but he was found inside a Plasma facility. His tale of where he was isn't taken seriously because while possible it's a horribly wild claim. So his words are taken as the ramblings of someone who's gone through a mental break down at the hands of Team Plasma. He is not given any time or space to actually even attempt to grieve in full or come to terms with what happened. He tries to go alone to take some time to himself to think and grieve and is followed. The others don't want him being alone, it's well meaning but this results in a lot of arguments, frustration, and anger building up.
All in all while the situations were similar Ingo and Emmet had very different experiences both in and out of Hisui
Adding on to the previous question I sent, Do you think a aspected falinks would need 5 other people to mega evolve? I’m imagining them wobbling around trying to keep balance. Heh, that’s a funny image.
Nah, mega evolution is between person and their partner, essentially they'd fall into formation with their partner pokemon should they mega evolve, taking on the position of another body in the stack. If enough people with the same falinks aspect all came together and they were all capable of mega evolving and had the stones, I'm sure they've tried to combine with each other just to see what happens. Weather it succeeds or not is a toss up due to how well they know one another.
Because of how aspects cause people to inherit the pokemon’s instincts, would falinks aspects fall into formation with their Pokemon, or other people with the same aspect as them out of habit? Like, some Falinks aspects in a line for coffee instinctively reorder themselves, or like, a some aspected siblings, that you’ll never see outside of their little family huddle/marching order?
Oh yea probably, they can come out of falling into formation with other people and their poemon but in the the case of falinks aspects they can more or less act as another body with their parter, though they can come out of that at will. They will absently fall in line/formation with other people and siblings and such, not realizing their doing it.
I mentioned it in the tags in the last post but felt like drawing it. Sabi is one of the only Diamond clansmen who has touching rights with someone from the Pearl clan. She takes full advantage of this by perching on Gaeric, often even well into adulthood. Lian does not approve considering Gaeric is in his 50's at this point.
Sabi also fore saw Ingo's moving on/disappearing. She took the chance she had to say goodbye to him, much to his utter confusion. He was gone before she was able to reach anyone else to inform them. Sabi was the only one Ingo got to say goodbye to, even if he didn't know it at the time.
Could I please see older Sabi with wings from Lord Braviary? Please!
Sabi is still a menace as an adult, but toned down a bit.
A thought came to me while I was at work. Can a human with an aspect get an illness that can effect Pokemon? Not Pokérus, but say if someone with an Electric type aspect got too much electricity stored up, would they get affected like their Pokemon would?
Yes and no? I mean illnesses can vary wildly some only able to affect one species and others can affect everything.
Specifically the build up of electricity, absolutely soneome with electric type aspects would be affected the same way their pokemon can.
Hi! I recently found your art and I love your art-style! also anything with the Submas boys is a win in my book. Your aspects AU has me hooked and I've kind of fallen down the rabbit hole of just looking at everything you've posted about the AU, got to the point where I'm contemplating making an oc
Basically love your stuff and can't wait to see more! If it's okay to ask, what aspects would someone get from a Snorunt?
Curious cause it's one of my favorite Pokémon (next to Froslass, Zoroark/Zorua and Corviknight) and considering you've said in a few different posts about how people are generally discouraged from bonding with ghost types; I think it's a little funny if a kid bonds with a Snowrunt, initial reactions maybe being "Awww" since in the pokedex they are seen as good luck, but later evolves into a Froslass, considering they have a reputation in the Pokedex for killing people. (Definitely not the og idea for my oc)
Sorry if this is a bit long, I tend to ramble a bit, hope you have a great day!
I’m glad you’re liking the insanity!
Hhmmm snowrunt. Well could have minor orange markings around the face, could gain a sort of hood/shall type thing, could maybe have the same eye color and teeth. Of course mix and match to your hearts content!
Also yea that would be a suprise to someone who didn’t know the potential for a snowrunt to evolve into a ghost type.
Not nessicarily a bad one but certainly something to come to terms with what with how ghosts will take and change their human partner into a pokemon at the end of their life.
How would nincada aspects work in regards to evolving into two simultaneous
That's a really good question, aw man I haven't thought of that.
I mean shedinja only occurs if there is an empty slot in someone's party. It likely wouldn't have the bond with the trainier what with it being incnsistant and a hollow shell/whole new pokemon.
As for the person who has nincada aspects... I'm not sure when they evolve they could create like a shell of a person/shedinja. Would it even where would it even go if it requires an empty slot? But how shedinja even works when you take out the game mechanics I have no clue. That's a good one, honestly up for your own interpretation really.
Maybe a suggestion, it allows the person with the aspect to instead resist one hit of damage, like a mimiku decoy. It "sheds the shell" and gives the same vibe as the shedinja ability. That and or the person gets bonus abilities to use ghost moves.
Oohh that would be cool!

Now, OP, how exactly would Gimmighoul aspects work?
Oh possibly some antennae, maybe some markings, a tendency to collect coins, probably the enjoyment of small enclosed spaces.
Sooooo.... regarding Sableye....
Aspect how?
For something more specific; Sableye's gems are the product of their gem consumption, ESPECIALLY the eyes.
Sooo would an aspect just bring an insatiable hunger for gems before they grow in, or, more morbidly, would the eyes be gone?
So it would be more of the, has a very bery strong hunger for gems and after a while their eyes basically turn into gemstones and they can still see. This could show up as the whole eye being completely replaced or something like the existing eyeball turning more crystalline. Dealers choice on that one.
