Ingo being insecure about the way he might look intimidating is interesting.

Because, at least to me, in Hisui he looks a bit more intimidating because of his torn up coat and hat.

Makes me wonder how big his insecurities are after he lost his memories… or he’s willing to look like that because his old clothes are just so comforting to him, the last remainder of his old life he lost and can’t even remember… 🤔

The comfort these clothes bring is way more precious to him than the occasional remark (mostly from Melli) or weird look he gets.

Honestly interesting thought. Without him outright saying it we see how much he still clings to this life he can’t even remember.

To Ingo, his clothes aren’t just clothes - they represent the person he used to be, the only proof other than his name, that he was anyone before finding himself in Hisui.

I totally agree that keeping him clothed in his old uniform was such a good (if not unintentional) way of showing how much he yearns for his old self, how no matter how much he’s grown into his role of Warden, he can’t let go of who he was even if he can’t remember it

I mentioned it in the tags in the last post but felt like drawing it. Sabi is one of the only Diamond clansmen who has touching rights with someone from the Pearl clan. She takes full advantage of this by perching on Gaeric, often even well into adulthood. Lian does not approve considering Gaeric is in his 50's at this point.

Sabi also fore saw Ingo's moving on/disappearing. She took the chance she had to say goodbye to him, much to his utter confusion. He was gone before she was able to reach anyone else to inform them. Sabi was the only one Ingo got to say goodbye to, even if he didn't know it at the time.

Here is a continuation of ingo’s side of things for that teen au I posted a little bit ago! Sorry if it’s ooc or weirdly paced I had to stop messing with it or I would never post it lol. I wanted to try to get something with emmet and Elesa out at the same time but they’re giving me more trouble so they will have to wait 😔.
