The Beatles play pass-the-phone at their New York Press conference.
From their suite at the Plaza Hotel the boys innocently take some real calls, which turn out to be from DJs. Many of these go out on the air, and when Epstein discovers what is going on, he is furious at the small fortune’s worth of interview material that they have given away for free.

Some say John wrote ‘Jealous Guy’ for Paul, others say he wrote it for Yoko and then others say he wrote it for Cyn. Well, its pretty obvious to me that its about Cynthia. “I was dreaming of the past, and my heart was beating fast…” his past was with Cynthia. He wrote it in the late 60’s which was when him and Cynthia were falling apart and had JUST met Yoko so it cant be about Yoko. “I didn’t mean to hurt you, im sorry that I made you cry”…we all know he treated Cynthia badly. Every time I listen to the song my hear breaks a little more knowing that he never meant to cause Cyn so much pain :( -Anonymous

What band did you go see?
Kodaline :)
“The Beatles’ story is all of our stories. It is about how the youth culture emerged, the drug culture emerged, how politics rose to the fore as a universal debate. It’s about rebellion, it’s about the growth of the British entertainment system, the growth of the rock n’ roll entertainment system.” - Bob Spitz
i saw my favourite band live on sunday and it was honestly the best night of my life i was second row from the barrier and i could literally make out every single feature on their faces
