Grace Is Always Now

“Living in trauma teaches us to act fast: to walk fast, talk fast, think and respond fast, chew fast, and fuck fast. “Fast” is a state of chronic flight or fight and survival lifestyle that keeps our stress hormones overly active and shuts down the rest of our body from working properly. The reclamation of the divine feminine arrives in the slow. Walking slower. Talking slower. Sitting with your desires i.e. thinking and acting slower. Slow crockpot cooking and slow chewing of your food into a liquid. Slow kissing and slow lovemaking with variations of speed and intensity as desired. Slow dancing. You begin to sever yourself out of trauma when you start to do one, two, or three things slower. Step by step. Witness how old trauma bonds begins to fall away one by one, bit by bit. To do life fast is to collude with Western trauma. And it is these stories and the accompanying shallow breathing patterns that we must begin to rewrite our way out of because our bodies were never meant to suffer. To get out of trauma is to facilitate the wisdom of slowing down in your everyday life. It is to refuse to do life at other people’s pace, those who have very little relationship with their own bodies and were also traumatized out of deep breathing, deep feeling, and and deep resting. It requires you to stop putting the patriarchy’s needs above your own and living in a whole ‘nother level of maturity. Otherwise you may find yourself living in patterns where you constantly desire to scroll social media, shop or consume a thing, fuck anyone who shows you a little attention, or mindlessly drink or smoke because the essential aspects of the divine feminine are missing from your life.”

"You are not separate from the source; you are the source extending itself into experience.
No part of existence is truly separate from its ultimate origin, universe ✨
Fasting humbles the soul, freeing it from the bitterness and satiety that come with overeating, and the prayer of the fasting person becomes especially powerful, spoken not superficially, but from the very soul, from the depths of the heart.

ecstasy (n.)
late 14c., extasie "elation," from Old French estaise "ecstasy, rapture," from Late Latin extasis, from Greek ekstasis "entrancement, astonishment, insanity; any displacement or removal from the proper place," in New Testament "a trance," from existanai "displace, put out of place," also "drive out of one's mind" (existanai phrenon), from ek "out" (see ex-) + histanai "to place, cause to stand," from PIE root *sta- "to stand, make or be firm."
Used by 17c. mystical writers for "a state of rapture that stupefied the body while the soul contemplated divine things," which probably helped the meaning shift to "exalted state of good feeling" (1610s). Slang use for the drug 3,4-methylendioxymethamphetamine dates from 1985. Formerly also spelled ecstasie, extacy, extasy, etc. Attempts to coin a verb to go with it include ecstasy (1620s), ecstatize (1650s), ecstasiate (1823), ecstasize (1830).

Your environment is the physical picture of your thoughts, emotions and beliefs made visible.
Since your thoughts, emotions and beliefs move through space and time, you therefore affect physical conditions separate from you.
Seth/ Jane Roberts: "I told you that the self was not limited. Yet, surely, you think that your self stops where your skin meets space, that you are inside your skin. Yet, your environment is an extension of your self. It is the body of your experience, coalesced in physical form.
The inner self forms the objects that you know as surely and automatically as it forms your finger or your eye. Your environment is the physical picture of your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs made visible. Since your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs move through space and time, you, therefore, affect physical conditions separate from you.
Consider the spectacular framework of your body just from the physical standpoint. You perceive it as solid, as you perceive all other physical matter. Yet, the more matter is explored the more obvious it becomes that, within it, energy takes on specific shape in the form of organs, cells, molecules, atoms, electrons, each less physical than the last, each combining in mysterious gestalt to form matter.
The atoms within your body spin. There is constant commotion and activity. The flesh that seemed so solid turns out to be composed of swiftly moving particles, often orbiting each other, in which great exchanges of energy continually occur.
The stuff, the space outside of your body, is composed of the same elements but in different proportions. There is a constant physical interchange between the structure you call your body and the space outside it – chemical interactions, basic exchanges without which life, as you know it, would be impossible."

The best romantic unions are guided by a deeply honest, loving friendship. -India Ame'ye, Author
🇦🇧🇮🇩🇪... I was thinking about something today... Sometimes I'm more winter than spring. I become quieter. I disappear into my own thoughts. I don't always have words for what's happening inside me, so I simply become silent...
For the longest time, I thought silence was the beginning of distance. That if I stayed there too long, people would slowly walk away... Then life surprised me. It let me meet someone who never seemed to mistake my winter for the end of me. Someone who never rushed me to bloom just because spring is easier to love...
You never said any of this out loud. It was in the way you stayed the same. In the way you never made me feel like I had to become lighter, happier, or easier to carry before I deserved kindness. And maybe that's why I've always admired what you have. Not because your life looks perfect, it doesn't... But because, from where I stand, your love seems to have room for every season...
It made me realize something. Real love isn't measured by how people hold your hand when you're in bloom. It's measured by whether they still recognize your heart when all the flowers have fallen...
I don't know if I've ever thanked you for teaching me that. Maybe you never even knew you were...
Talking of the witness should not lead to the idea that there is a witness and something else apart from him that he is witnessing.
The witness really means the light that illumines the seer, the seen, and the process of seeing.
Before, during, and after the triads of seer, seen, and seeing, the illumination exists. It alone exists always.
- Ramana Maharshi
There is no one standing apart watching life go by like a spectator.
There is only the light in which the watcher, the watched, and the watching itself all appear.
That light was already there before the seer, the seen, and the seeing arose.
It remains all through their existence, and it remains unmoved even after they dissolve.
You are not the witness standing outside experience.
You are the light in which experience itself appears and disappears
The appearance of things changes according to the emotions; and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves. Khalil Gibran
My ‘issue’ with non duality is that it can only be shared with words and the instant words are used to define it , it becomes conceptualized and bounded by the limitations of those words.
Non duality is not another new theory or philosophy on reality, it is quite literally nothing at all, it’s the exposition that everything Is nothing. Do you see how in itself it appears contradictory?
And I believe this is why a lot of people struggle with it, because they begin to take it up as a concept to break down and understand when freedom and liberation is the exact opposite of conceptualization.
I’d prefer if all of us just sat down in silence everyday for a few hours as that would be better than whatever it is I do on this blog, nevertheless, I’ll keep giving my advice because words do help a certain degree, it opens the door and points in the direction of the “ ” we talk about.
But you must know the actual goodness is found where words (mind) cannot be touched, the sweet spot we all point to is where labels, ideas, concepts and explanations die.
And you can ‘go’ there right now.
"There is only the light of awareness, in which everything appears and disappears. You are that light. Be it." ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj
