Sometimes I forget to breathe during multi-measure rests when I play flute (as in I completely stop breathing for a bit) - do other people have this problem too or is it just me?
Please keep breathing. Otherwise, you can’t practice your scales. I’m sure @paultaffanel-official agrees

- boring - force you to confront your deepest inadequacies as a musician and by extension as a person - your bd is listening. judging. any mistake you make will be seared into their memory for use against you in the near future - everyone must take a side on the Scale Discourse, why not take the completely illogical and silly side
What are you talking about??? Scales are super FUN!! There are infinite number of fun patterns you can use, you just have to use your mind!
If you do not wish to be judged then PRACTICE THEM MORE SO YOU WILL NOT BE JUDGED!!
