Sit back, take a deep breath, hell, even live react, and revel in what I think is our best episode yet. The only way to go is up and looking at how far we’ve come, I am truly stunned. Trial of Leaves Season 1 Finale Teaser Trailer
Pavel Hall Aftermath Post 1/2
So since season 2 has been over for a few months, and the final script for season 3 is underway, and we start filming again very soon I thought I’d post some stuff about season 2 and Pavel Hall in general that might be cool!
Image 1) Here we have myself, Will (Korban), Nathan (Faceless King), Cameron (Dr. Cycles), and Toni (Kathleen) getting ready to film the original #35 which was called #35 Out of the Shadows. but was unfortunately cancelled.
Image 2) Here we have Cameron, Chissy (Original Ava), Nathan (Sigma for this ep), and Will. This was also more filming for #35 Out of the Shadows where Nathan was going to play the body of Champion Sigma Prime, voiced by Ross Scott of Freeman’s Mind fame. Ava was also originally played by Chissy, who is a pretty successful cosplayer and you can check her out here. chissyrulez She was the original Ava, but was recasted last minute by Emeree. The reason for that was since it was my last month in Bluffton with all the Bluffton characters, things had to be shot quickly. Toni (Kathleen) was only available in town for a few hours, and Chissy was not available, so I had to do a fast recast with someone more available. I also couldn’t recast Toni to get Chissy because Toni had already appeared in another episode. Chissy also doubled as out makeup artist along side Mackenzie.
Image 3) This was a receipt that the manager of a restaurant wrote me when they agreed to let me shoot some Pavel Hall in their restaurant. Unfortunately, those scenes were cancelled.
Image 4) Here is myself, Madeleine, Sophie, and Kelsey for the shooting of the deleted story arc called Missing Prophecy during the restaurant scenes. Kelsey was actually another last minute recast. Because we only had the location for a limited time, Kyrie who was originally casted, thought filming was at 7 that night instead of in the morning. So we were able to get Kelsey who signed on to play the character. Kyrie later was recasted to play The Inferno in seasons 2 and 3.
Image 5) Here we have myself, Neal (behind me), Hannah, and Kelsey. Hannah went on to later play a different character that will come up in season 3 of World Zero. Oddly enough, each time a last minute recast has happened (Emeree taking over for Chissy, and Kelsey taking over for Kyrie) Hannah was the one to call in the back up actor.
Image 6) An old version of #34 where Frank was played by a different actor. In that episode when Kathleen questions Frank and Vicky, Vicky has a flashback to her last moment with Pavel and Frank does not. This was because when we had the original actor, Cameron, the scene didn’t quite work. I later fell out of contact with Cameron and we found a new actor, Julio. In the scene, Frank finds Pavel’s unconscious body in Greenway, after the events of #26.
Image 7) Me trying on a cool coat to see if it fit Pavel or if it could be used later in the series. Let’s just say, yes, it is, it will be in Season 3, and it looks amazing.
EXPLANATION TIME!
#35 Out of the Shadows In the original progression of the series, #35 was to be a really insane episodes with some twists. It was supposed to introduce the Archive members, and Pavel’s love interest, Ava. It was also supposed to establish Pavel in the dream world of the Path of Black Leaves. Also we were going to debut one of the Archive’s top agents, Champion Sigma Prime, voiced by Ross Scott. The episode also featured Vicky being revealed to being The Fear, The Wooden Girl, and working with Korban. Their love story was also supposed to be a big point of the original season 3. This was before we thought of World Zero and wanted to branch off. This was also before I knew I was moving to Washington.
Missing Prophecy This was originally going to be a between season film, which later turned into 6 or 7 episodes, and then was cancelled when World Zero was brought into the picture. Originally, this was how it was gonna go. Season 2, Missing Prophecy, Season 3, Season 4, Film about Pavel moving to Washington. The idea was to wrap up a lot in season 3 and 4, much like we are doing now, but much longer, and it was not going to be the VERY end. Missing Prophecy centered around a group of people who believe Pavel Hall’s YouTube Vlogs are real, and know the Fears to be real. They meet up and decide that they are going to find him. This was supposed to start the Pavel’s Army plotline, where Pavel meets followers who sign up to help him fight BASE. Through out the course of the film, we also see Kathleen trying to find Pavel’s tapes from before the series. Basically, everything leading up to the SD card footage in #14 and #15. Also, at the same time, we find out more about Ava, The Demon Hunters (a plotline that was cut) and The Archive. There was also a scene where Korban manipulates Ava, and attacks the house Pavel is at. She defeats Korban, only to find out it was another BASE member dressed as Korban. (Korban originally had a mask) At the same time, we see Korban attacking Pavel’s Army, killing all but one.
Part 2 of this post will have the original plots of season 3, 4, and beyond!
Pavel Hall Aftermath Post 2/2
Here is the second part of this post, with more silly!
Image 1) Here is Morgan (The Second Forger), Kyrie (The Inferno), Myself, Spencer (Director of Photography) and Will (Korban) after filming #35 Gift from a God. The title actually refers to three instances in the episode. 1) The Inferno giving the gun to Korban. 2) The Blind Man paying for Pavel and Ava’s dream house. and most importantly 3) The wish Ava asked The Jack of All.
Image 2) Me, wearing what was supposed to be Korban’s mask, (what was originally going to be in the suitcase) but we found out it was insanely reflecting, desided against it, and made the case the moment where Korban was ready to meet The Inferno.
Image 3) Just Karina reacting to Korban’s antics in Season 3 (she is proof reading the script)
Image 4) I think Michael asked me to make Pavel Hall panties. I delievered. Anyone who wants a pair, message me XD
Image 5) A behind the scenes photo of myself, Julio (Frank), and Will during the filming of #35. I couldn’t post this till now since it shows Frank being mortally wounded in the throat, we didn’t want to spoil it. Will is also preparing the monologue Korban gives at the end of #35 about being a hero.
Image 6) Here is Julio, Will, and Oscar (uncredited PA) that did this while I was away checking something. While it was funny, we couldn’t post it due to Frank’s neck. This happens a lot on set, this is why we are awesome.
Image 7) Here is Will as Korban in a sneak peek of Season 3! While this shot is not in the episode, this is a look at Korban in Season 3.
Image 8) Another tease of Season 3 with Korban unedited on the left, and Pavel fully edited on the right about to touch a certain tree…
EXPLANATION TIME!!! The Original Season 3 This season was supposed to be sort of a revamp, or retelling. Season 1 done better. We see a younger Pavel, inexperienced, and just starting his film career. FuN FaCt! In Episode #33, when Kathleen transforms, she gets on the phone with Vicky and mentions how they know each other from Pavel’s film, Powerlines. This was to set up Season 3. Throughout this season, Pavel and his friend Gabriel try to make a film with a bunch of friends, but soon find out they are Forgers. This season we would explain why Slenderman (a.k.a. The Faceless King) hated Pavel so much, the origin of #25 56 Days at Sea, how Pavel and Ava met, Pavel and Korban being evil together (that’s right, at the end of the season, when Pavel has lost everyone, he meets Korban, and the two work for the Bleeding Tree), a demonstration of how forgers work with time, Pavel’s brother who turned out to be The Brute, The Glitch fucking shit up. It was gonna be hella.
The Original Season 4 Pavel wakes up from his coma, and he is pissed the fuck off. He starts to go around and fuck some shit up. He watched the SD card footage Kathleen found and decides to go after BASE. He finds more Kristian Vines recordings and learned that he killed Taylor, Karen’s sister who then became the Convocation. He gets insanely wounded by The Burning Bride. He is hospitalized and we introduce The Inferno’s servants, which are the reasons why The Demon Hunters existed. The Season ends with him defeating The Convocation, and Ava deciding that Pavel needs to be relocated if he has any chance of survival.
What was to come A lot of awesomeness. The film showed Pavel being transferred to Washington and getting acquainted with the new cast of characters. Season 5 was a LOT about The Fear, The Answer, with Pavel traveling around alot, trying to find out what his destiny is. After that it’s vague for me. There was gonna be a lot of war, apocalypse, ToL converging, etc.
What happens now? Well! After season 3? Who knows. We are ending it in an attempt to answer a lot of questions, but also make it open for more Pavel. If there is more, it will not be Fear Mythos related. Myself as well as Josiah, wants to make the original story we had in mind for Pavel Hall. As I’ve been writing this, I have had an old flame rekindled, and I would love to see this story finally told right. In what format? Who knows. I would love to do a live action series of course, but I have so many other things happening it would be hard. Pavel may be put on the back burner for sometimes, so that I can get better and do it right. Though I could see it as a book series, or as an animated series.
I want to thank everyone for supporting Pavel Hall, and I love all of you that watch and like my series. So much more is to come! I hope you liked this behind the scenes look at Pavel Hall: World Zero!
