Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid for Entertainment Weekly 💚
Just drop the first episode early
i don't care if i sound like a complainer or im beating a dead horse, but all the promotion that tvl is getting—the magazines and episode-breakdown couch convo/podcasts and in-universe commercials and live concerts and tons of alternate previews and fucking fashion designer collaborations—compared to the next to nothing that the previous two black and brown-led seasons got really feels purposeful. like amc got their audience built off of their diverse cast, and now they're shifting to a whiter brand, perhaps what they'd wanted to do all along, and are doing their best to advertise that as much as possible.
vampire social circles must go crazy. that’s my ex from two centuries ago who’s dating my ex from three centuries ago who i’m in an open relationship with
Not even 30 seconds into The Vampire Lestat: After Dark and it's already their tender gazing.
How will I survive 8 weeks of this?! 😭♥️
Moist Chocolate Cake
Oreo Brookies
I would say campaigns for both Sam and Jacob. 🥰
From U to AMCS ears
I'm telling y'all. They're acting circles around everyone in the industry.
We basically know that Louis is gonna hatefuck Lestat in episode 6, like he did in season 1. Louis is gonna bite Lestat too. Can you tell me if it's less violent than the hatesex from season 1?
No. You basically don't know that.
The Vampire Lestat for POM. Full version. 💕
all that photo was missing was some bisexual lighting
I have no space for anything in my head besides them!!! How am I supposed to live a normal life when obsessing over them is so much more interesting 🔥🤍
It is insane.
Most of these "showmances" are manufactured for PR, but with Jam? They are something else entirely. They don't turn it off.
I mean, even Rolin is saying "yeah whatever they did offscreen is the gas. whatever they COMPLETE IN EACH OTHER'S LIVES is the gas." That is utterly unhinged.
Every single person who watches them interact in person always comes away with the same take — "yeah so what's happening here? i've never seen anything like this." 🫠
I adore them. We're so lucky, because I'm telling you. They are lightening-in-a-bottle, and thank goodness Rolin and everyone else recognizes it.
godd look at the devastated spellbound look he has here!! All the boatloads of outtake content there in the abyss… entertainment weekly are u hiring
Indeed.
Also this one —
He's always absolutely mesmerized when he looks at Jacob. Fucking smitten. It's something to behold. Like, not even joking. I've never seen anything like the unicorn that is Jam.
No one, and I mean no one, is coming close to this deeply bonded, innate chemistry. We are so bloody lucky. ♥️
white europeans love to pretend like the united states and europe aren’t two cheeks of the same ass
Fandom Problem #14,596:
People getting defensive when you bring up that the "nice" character isn't devoid of character flaws just because they're nice. Like, it is possible to be "nice" but also be so conflict avoidant that you never stand up for yourself or anybody else. I'm not saying "too conflict avoidant" is a trait no character should ever have, but view it as a potential character flaw.
"OH SO YOU'RE SAYING THEY'RE JUST AS BAD AS THIS OTHER, MUCH WORSE CHARACTER THEN? WHY DO YOU HATE THEM SO MUCH??"
It's not about "which character is worse" or "not liking a character", it's about being aware of a character's flaws and how they can be used to drive storytelling??
I think it's partially a consequence of people viewing "character flaws" in a bullet-list style format because they remember hearing that "you should give your characters some flaws so they don't look like a Mary Sue" but didn't really understand what that meant. It's not like a tally mark against your character weighing the number of good traits versus the number of bad traits, character flaws should emerge naturally from just who they are as a person and the life they've lived up to that point, and can inform the way the story progresses.
