circumstance recently knocked my internet out for the better part of a week, in the downtime i did manage to create One Whole Art, the first thing I’ve drawn for myself sinnnccee… november? Cat name of Worm. From my pixel cats #mypixelcats

I don’t have a good well written description for its character to copy paste rn (and it’s intentionally still maleable so there’s room to work in new lore or ideas as new cats shape the direction of my little cat village), but I put down some stream of consciousness vibes on its toyhouse page.

OOC I was always pretty sure it would be one of the first cats I Ascended, felt right for the character idea I was envisioning based on the songs that inspired me. I did not at the time realize that cats Ascending prematurely would be a whole Thing included in on-site mechanics and lore. Not-cats can reach their Ascended life state naturally when their in-game age is 7 years or more, but they can also ascend in a sudden burst at any age when they feel trapped in a dire situation that requires a miracle. So Worm did ascend young through irregular circumstances (and xe’s only 3 on site right now, I think xe was still 2 when I started working toward ascension)

#i was telling myself over and over 'look look you are drawing graystripe warrior cats not pike pce' and i had to stop there WHAT am i doing #to be real tho this is getting tiring!!! :( don't get me wrong warriors will always be my guilty favorite but i want to drawing things that-#arent warrior cats and not feel like i wanna smash my fash into the ground from boredom!!! arrrrggghhh!!!!!

One of the many things I Don't Particularly Like about myself is my total dependence on WC for my creativity. I can't draw, I can't brainstorm, I can't just enjoy things and engage with them Unless it's about Warriors, even if I really, really this other thing. It's a little sad because I LIKE DESIGNING UGGO CATS and half these 'warrior cats designs' are MY OWN RESKINNED UGGO CATS. I'm going to break out of my cage one day.
