INSTALLING PRODUCT CLUES ON A MAGENTO STORE

To add product clues plugin onto your Magento store, you need to connect your Google Analytics account that has eCommerce conversion tracking enabled.

Step 1: Connecting your Google Analytics account

On the signup screen, connect your google analytics account and choose the correct google analytics web profile.

Alternatively, you can also install the Product Clues plugin first from your Magento admin screen and then connect your Google Analytics account. Follow step 3 on how to install the plugin.

Step 2: Installing chrome plugin

Once you connect your GA account, add Product Clues to chrome. Click on Install Chrome Plugin button and add the extension to chrome.

Once the plugin is stalled you just have to turn it on or off to validate any page on your store.

Step 3: Connecting Magento store

Once you install the chrome plugin, click Next and goto Connect Store step. Choose your platform and timezone and click Install Now.

Installing the Product Clues data collection plugin

Login to your Magento Admin Panel, click on the System Tab and choose Magento Connect Manager from the drop down list.

Click on the Magento Connect link under the Install New Extensions section and search for Product Clues.

Once you’ve found the Product Clues Plugin,  click on “Install Now” and then click on the “Get Extension Key” button and copy the key.

Go back to the the Magento Connect Manager and paste the extension key into the text box as required and then click on “Install”.

You can also choose to do the installation manually by downloading the file.

Configuring the Product Clues plugin

Once you install the data collection plugin, you need to ensure that the right domain key is pasted on the Magento settings page.

From your Magento Admin Panel, select the configuration option from the drop down list under the Systems tab.

On the Configuration page you will find Product Clues listed under the services section on the left sidebar menu, click on it to access the settings for the plugin.

Enable the plugin and then paste the Domain Key from the install page in Product Clues and save the configuration once you are done.

Step 4: Importing product feed

For customers on Magento, Product Clues automatically imports the product feed.

Once the product feed import is complete, you can click on the next button to complete the set up.

INSTALLING PRODUCT CLUES ON A SHOPIFY STORE

You can add Product Clues to your Shopify store either from the signup screen or from the app store. To add Product Clues onto your Shopify store, you will need access to your store’s admin panel and your store's google analytics account with eCommerce conversion tracking enabled.

Step 1: Connecting your Google Analytics account

On the signup screen, specify your store url and your email id. Click on the Submit button and choose the right google account.

In the next step, choose the correct google analytics web profile and hit the Select button.

Alternatively, you can also install the Product Clues plugin from your Shopify admin screen as well. Navigate over to the the app store search for “Product Clues”. Simply click on the green “Get App” button on the right hand side of the page.

Once that is done, you need to connect your Google analytics account before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Installing chrome plugin

Once you connect your GA account, add Product Clues to chrome. Click on Install Chrome Plugin button and add the extension to chrome.

Once you install the chrome plugin, click Next and goto Connect Store step. Choose your platform and timezone and click Install Now. Install the app and confirm the access.

INSTALLING PRODUCT CLUES ON A BIGCOMMERCE STORE

To add Product Clues onto your Bigcommerce store, you will need access to your store’s admin panel and google analytics account with eCommerce conversion tracking enabled.

Step 1: Connecting your Google Analytics account

On the signup screen, specify your store url and email id. Click on the Submit button and choose the right google account.

In the next step, choose the correct google analytics web profile and hit the Select button.

Alternatively, you can also install the Product Clues plugin from your Bigcommerce admin screen as well. If you do so, you will have to connect your Google analytics account before proceeding to the next step.

Login to your store's admin panel, click on apps and search for Product Clues. Once you find the plugin, click on it, hit install and confirm access.

Step 2: Installing chrome plugin

Once you connect your GA account, add Product Clues to chrome. Click on Install Chrome Plugin button and add the extension to chrome.

Once the plugin is installed you just have to turn it on or off to validate any page on your store.

Step 3: Connecting Bigcommerce store

Once you install the chrome plugin, click Next and goto Connect Store step. Choose your platform and timezone and click Install Now. Install the app and confirm access.

Step 4: Importing product feed

For customers on Bigcommerce, Product Clues automatically imports the product feed.  

Once the product feed import is complete, you can click on the next button to complete the set up.
